I want to adopt this Flaming Fox!
Username:
VineStar12
Name of Fox:
Viridi
Color(s) Of the necklace:
Light Pink
Personality:
Viridi is the kind of fox that pups want to be like when they grow up. She is kind-hearted and generous, always helping those who really need it. She adores pups and would love to babysit them if possible; she thinks they're the cutest little fluffy things with their little flames! Just another daydreamer who just really wants to find the right guy and settle down to have pups of her own someday. A motherly figure who is willing to make the hard decisions that no one else will, even if it means sacrificing herself to save another. Can act very childish at times and has a sense of curiosity that never seems to go away, which also means she can get into a bit of trouble. However, be warned that she has her own flaws. Despite how caring and loyal Viridi is, she is also overly protective of her friends and family, and especially over pups. She will not hesitate to burn you with her flames or attack if she finds you to be a threat. Other than that, she is a gentle, responsible vixen that has a natural knack for leadership and being on the good side.
Why do you want to adopt this Flaming Fox?:
I want to adopt this Flaming Fox because she is simply gorgeous! I love the markings and colors, especially the green flames that complete the look. Reminds me of the beach; the blue for the ocean and the yellow and orange markings for the sun.
History:
Viridi was born in a cozy little forest to a mother who spoiled her pups and a cold-hearted father. She was the only vixen of the batch, and therefore was usually left out of the fun stuff. While her brothers got to go hunting and training with their father, she had to stay at the den and keep her mother company. Her father believed that vixens were only good for helping out with wounds, cleaning coats, raising pups, and having more pups. So, he was basically sexist. Viridi never understood how her mother could put up with a guy like that, but she thought best not to question it. When she turned one year old, she decided to run away, and she did. But, one teensy tiny problem; she didn't know how to survive on her own yet. Days later, she was weak, starving, and tired, having managed to survive on only the water she found in the streams. She passed out in a makeshift log den, and woke hours later to find someone else accompanying her. It was another vixen, of whom was named Jazmine. Jazmine said she had seen Viridi crawl into the log to rest and had decided to make a new friend. After finding out Viridi was in bad condition, Jazmine kindly offered help and brought her some game. This taught Viridi that not all foxes in the world were bad or oblivious, and from that point on she was determined to help everyone. The new friends seperated three months later when Jazmine, being the older one, found a mate and settled down. Viridi wanted to keep traveling despite her own dreams of starting a family someday, and she did. Some of her most great achievements were when she saved a fox pup from a wolf, helped a pregnant vixen who couldn't hunt for a few weeks, and even took a pup into her care for a month to protect him from some other foxes hunting him down. And now here she is.
How many Guinea Pigs do I have?: I'm guessing 3?

Good luck! :D

I want to adopt this Flaming Fox!

Username: tawnypelt3

Name of Fox: Aashita, which is Indian for "one who is full of hope"

Color(s) Of the necklace: I think orange would look good. Yellow would look nice as well, but as a color, I just prefer orange. ^^ You can color it whatever you want, of course. You are the artist. But this is just my opinion.

Personality: As stated below, she's rather like me when I can let everything go and just be. That is, she's very in tune with nature, very observant, likes to just look at things in nature (such as the views of the hills at sunset or the tiny flowers of Queen Anne's Lace or ants working efficiently to sustain the colony), and yet is laid back. She can be cheerful and bouncy, make no mistake, but she is generally calm and peaceful and just content to look around and bask in the glow of the sun and feel the breeze blowing into her face, whether it be fierce and wild or gentle and whispering. She doesn't easily get angry; it has happened only a few times in her life, and only with people rather close to her (not close as in she loves them, but close as in she must be around them). If she does get upset, it's usually either an earthy sadness over a trampled plant or crushed insect or baby bird (that she hadn't planned on eating) fallen from the nest, or a slight irritation at someone disrupting the flow of nature (such as loud people scaring away birds or fish, or careless people trampling and ripping plants as they walk on a "nature hike" >n> or even a child pulling an animal's tail and not being smart enough to know when to stop). It seems like she doesn't really like people, but so long as they do not disrupt any aspect of nature with their unobservant, ignorant selves, she is okay with them.

Why do you want to adopt this Flaming Fox?: Because I think she's AMAZING. Well, that's not all, really, but it's true, at least. One reason is that I don't actually ever do this sort of thing, I don't go around and look for characters to buy or commission or even to win. I have just four characters, and I only ever use one of them anymore, because she's pretty much my fursona. My four characters I created myself years ago; I have never had any art of them except for my fursona, and I haven't roleplayed with them in years. I originally created them for my Warriors roleplay guild on another site. I roleplayed in many guilds with them; they were their own little family. <3 But I haven't done that in a long time, and I almost never do anything with my fursona anymore; my few pieces of art of her just sort of sit in my computer. I do look at them often enough, but I just... don't have time to rp with her anymore. <:\ She is still very dear to my heart, and I will never truly forget her, or the others.

The reason I said all that is because the moment I saw this girl, I loved her. I wasn't even really here for the purpose of getting my fursona done as a fox. I was on the TRT, just reading, and I saw an interesting stamp in someone's siggy. I clicked on it and was taken to the original page of the FFA. I clicked on the FFA V.2 link after some poking around. I looked around the second post for the FFA until I came to the up-for-adoption foxes. I looked at them out of curiosity and when I saw #11, I just... loved her. It's like she was meant to be mine, like we belong together. I don't mean to sound sappy, but that's how I feel. I've adopted several animals from the pound over the years, and each one was chosen carefully based on pure feeling. Each time there was just one cat, or one dog, that felt right. We just seemed to match each other, and I would take them home, and it would just be... great! We belong together, and that's kind of how I feel when I see this girl.

But this is a little different, though. It's more like she's a part of me than a separate being who I belong with. She seems to be a representation of me, me at a certain time. Me when I'm out in the sun, feeling the earth pound beneath my feet as I run the trails for hours with my dog by my side. I'm not much of a yellow person, but I love the sun and nature and everything green and just letting go and running out into the wilderness, and that's what this pretty girl looks like to me. That's why I would like her. She just seems like everything that is me, when I'm not going through all the hardships and depressions of life, when I can just let go and fly through the trees, being one with my dog next to me and with everything around me.

After all of that feely-stuff, writing this part seems kind of business-like and not very feely at all, but I must say it anyway. If i won this beautiful girl, I would pretty much feel obligated to put her in my story. I would give you and Key credit for the FFA, and only if you both gave me permission to do so, of course. I am writing a story about CS pets, and I would love to put her in my story. It's a huge, long story with all sorts of pet species, and all sorts of relationships (not just romantic, but also friendships, rivalries, etc.) and... it's just really long and awesome, okay? I've planned a lot of it out, but all the time I come up with new characters to work into it. There's currently a squadron of BWs, an army of bunnies, an organization of combat rats, dragons, horses, cats, dogs, foxes, wolves, rats, a few owls... I can't remember if there's more. X) So, yeah. If she ended up as one of my characters, she'd probably join up with the main group of characters I have rather early on in the game. These characters include the bunny army, a fox, a cat or two, several dogs, a pack of wolves, and some horses, all traveling together to reach the human encampment (and thus, safety), all the while fleeing from and, when necessary, fighting the evil shadow monster things. Anyway, she'd be struggling to survive just like all the rest of them. And while all this is going on, there's time for romance, friendships, rivalries, etc. 8) So it's a lot.

I know I haven't explained it very well, so if you'd like to know more about my story, click here to read about some of my characters. In my descriptions of them, it also gives out a lot of info. about my plot, probably more than I was hoping to reveal, but I do not regret it. ^^ I am very excited about getting out the first chapter of my story, which will be very soon. 8D

Art/History: If I was lucky enough to win her (I really do hope I win this once), and could thus put her in my story (again, with permission from both of you), this would probably end up being her backstory/history. Aashita doesn't really know who her parents were, or whether she had any siblings, or even her own age. At one point in her very young life, she just suddenly became aware that she was alone (this is kind of hard to put into words; she became aware of herself, and everything around her; she was no longer too young to understand anything but the most basic instinctual feelings; she came into herself and her own mind). She survived by learning to pounce on bugs in the underbrush and stealing baby birds from trees. Fishing became an option as she grew up a bit and watched the raccoons at streams. All the animals were in harmony with her (except when she had to eat, of course) and the larger mammals (raccoons, possum, deer; she had a somewhat shaky relationship with the coyotes) were her friends. Aashita was given her name by the only heron in the area; he had flown far in his lifetime and met many different birds (so cliche! D:). He'd learned the name from one of them and thought it fit the little fox-girl. Though she had been alone for as far back as she could remember and had had to struggle to survive the early years, she'd pulled through. She'd never given up and laid down to die. She was full of hope.

Aashita always nested in a small cavelike hole in the ground; as she grew bigger and aged into a "teenage" flaming fox, she had to dig out the hole to fit in it properly. During this time, she became aware that she was living in a park (one of the big state parks, not the small public parks with benches and stuff). The park was being renovated; instead of a small trailer, a good-sized building was made for dining, snacks, bathrooms, and boat, kayak and canoe rentals. The old docks were replaced with new wood and floats, the camping area was updated, an equestrian area and a beach for swimming were added, and clean-up policies were updated and better enforced. For the first time, Aashita saw horses trotting through trails and fields. She was frightened by their size at first, but ultimately decided they were rather similar to deer, if smarter, and docile enough so long as she didn't surprise them.

She never truly showed herself to humans, though she couldn't be blamed if one occasionally spotted her exuberant fur colors darting through the undergrowth. Talk spread of her, a strange mammal with brilliant fur. She became a sort of unspoken mascot of the park, though no one had ever seen her properly. The first winter after this happened, signs were firmly posted all over the park telling hunters to avoid hitting her at all costs, to be sure of what they were shooting at. A few years later, one foolish young man did accidentally hit her, having thought her white chest to be a snow hare. She'd been nestled belly-up on a bed of leaves, dozing and gazing at the sun thinly covered by dull winter clouds. The arrow hit her on the inside of the shoulder blade, startling her out of the nest, limping. She was not afraid of the man; clarity came soon enough as she saw the cache of hares he'd already caught. The hunter was instantly shocked at his mistake; he knew who this strange fox-creature must be, after all. Looking into her eyes, he could see the intelligence she possessed; he apologized accordingly and promptly rushed her to the rangers' office. The wound wasn't deep or bad in any way; it had hurt a lot, but the angle the arrow had hit Aashita on the shoulder had deflected most of the blow. It was just a small puncture wound and a very nasty bruise. The rangers were relieved she was alright, but they were very interested in finally seeing the strange creature living in the park.

After that encounter, Aashita was glad enough to see the rangers in her wanderings each day. They were friendly, and sometimes brought her food, scraps of whatever they hadn't finished that day. She was still rather skittish about big crowds and often about strangers, such as any visitor to the park, but after some time watching the regulars to the park, she occasionally joined them on a hike, appearing beside them like a ghost. She enjoyed their initial surprise, then warm joy at seeing her. It was a happy life; she had no parents, no family, but she knew how she felt about the world, and with as much interest in and happiness with her that all the people had, she could also be happy with them. That all changed when the shadow monsters came. All the people left, only the animals remaining. Compared to her previous life of people and laughter and appreciation of nature, this new world felt empty and bleak. Not that that really mattered at the time; when the shadow monsters come, it is run or die.

Well, that's her history. It's late and I didn't write very well, but I got it out just as it happened. More about shadow monsters and whatnot in that link higher up in my form. ;)

Oh, and I almost forgot. The rangers' faces when she first flamed up in front of them? Priceless. XD

How many Guinea Pigs do I have?: Depends on whether you mean in real life or on CS. If the latter, you have four that I can see.

Good luck! :D --> Thank you! c: Thank you for this chance. Even though I haven't known her very long, this girl really does mean a lot to me, so I am very grateful to have the chance to have her.

Oh my god, thank you for finally ending this contest. I was slowly going insane with the suspense.

And thank you for the character! She's so beautiful, and I'm so glad to have her. She will go right into my story, at long last, and she will be loved forever. Thank you!

Edit: Wait..... isn't she supposed to have a necklace? :/
