Legolas

Legolas awoke again to feel a cold stone floor under him. Rubbing his eyes, he sat up, taking a second to get accustomed to the darkness. When he did, he realized he was in what seemed like a cage. It wasn't big at all, only enough for him to lie down in. The king also noticed that there were metal chains tied to his wrists and ankles, and attached to the bars of the cage, limiting his movements. It wasn't tall enough for him to stand up in, but Legolas noticed that three other levels of cages towered above his, and another three underneath. Suddenly, he remembered all that had happened: The attack of the orcs, the arrow, and then the wight. Slowly, the king moved his hand to touch the place where the deep wound was. Nothing, it was totally sealed leaving not even the tiniest mark. Looking around, he shook this head. This was not a whight's barrow, it was a cage, probably forged by elves as for the sturdy bars. Reaching out, he shook the cage slightly, but it didn't move.
Suddenly he remembered Falco. Letting out a gasp of dismay he looked around, trying to spot the young elf between the many bars that formed the rows. After a second, his keen gaze saw a figure lying on the floor of one of the cages five rows away, and worked out that it was Falco. He was breathing, he just seemed deeply asleep.
Legolas sat down, his back resting against the metal as he felt guilty once more for not having searched longer for his son. He remembered dreadfully well the day when him and a few men had gone in search of the lost ones, and found his wife's dead body, brutally murdered by orcs. The king shook his head sadly. She had been so beautiful, so kind... she didn't deserve to die that way. Legolas felt guilt swell up inside him. Why hadn't he gone and defended them? Maybe then his family would have been together.
But when he had seen the corpse, him and the other elves supposed that the baby was also dead, and had returned to their hiding. But now the king regretted it deeply. Instead of being raised like a prince, Falco had been treated brutally as a slave, obliged to work day after day and beaten if he didn't do so. And in the meanwhile, he, Legolas Greenleaf, mourning their death instead of going to help him. And then, the worse. Captured by orcs and tortured with the cruellest methods to say something he didn't even know. One of the elf spies had heard the screams from the underground dungeons, and had reported that it was an elf inmediatly. When they had found him, Falco was hardly alive, starved to death and full of terrible wounds that Legolas didn't even want to imagine. And now they were both trapped in a cage, and what would happen next was unknown to the elven king. Why had he been so foolish, leaving his bow on the horse like that? If he had brought it, he could have fought back against the orcs, and everything would be well. Closing his eyes, he glanced at Falco one more time, and then fell into what elves call sleep, a strange limbo between dreams and real life.

((What exactly is going to happen to them in Mordor?))
Falco

Falco's eyes flickered open, at once seeing the metal bars in front of him. He sat up with a gasp, and looked around. A cage... he was trapped...
Inmediatly his mental barrier came up, blocking out all feelings of his body. It was an instinctive thing, that happened each time he was in danger, but not good. His blue eyes hardened suddenly, and, without a second glance, moved to sit in the most shadowy part of the cage, hardly being seen as his face remained unchanged and neutral. Though he was not under pain, all his muscles tensed, and wished he had a weapon of some sort. But he didn't.
After a while of sitting there, completely still, the barrier in his mind dropped a bit, and he looked around. He was in a small cage, only big enough for one person. Looking further on, he saw Legolas observing him with a worried expression, and a few other people he didn't recognise. Falco pulled up his hood once again to hide his face, and then shrunk deeper into the shadows in a way that nobody would see him. "Barrow Whights..." he whispered, shaking his head. In the time when he was enslaved, many of the other slaves had talked about them: awful creatures that were neither dead or alive, and fed of one's soul. He shuddered, the scar on his neck stinging again. But this whight had obviously had mercy, and taken the two elves to this grim place, but Falco had no idea what would happen next, and very much hoped that he would not be tortured again, even though he could endure pain more than most people. When at last he had thought everything was over and well, protected by the elves, this had to happen.
Falco rested his back against the wall, not able to sleep. His fine ears picked up the sound of clanking metal somewhere below, and many things burning, though he didn't know what it was. And suddenly, he heard a voice coming a few rows of cages away.
"We are in Mordor" it said. Falco looked up only to see that it was Legolas, who had also been listening and had heard the lava pouring down the sides of the mountain.
"Where the ring of power was destroyed?" he asked coldly, and the king nodded with a sigh "I am afraid so, but it is unknown to me what evil lurks in this dark place, and why it has captured us"
Falco shuddered. This place reminded him of the orc's dungeons, where he had stayed so long. Instinctively, his hand ran down the scar on his forehead and neck, gulping. If they did torture him again into telling where the elves lived, he would know this time, and could easily tell to stop the pain.
When he had been in the underground tunnels of Mirkwood, he had many times wished he knew, and would have told the orcs if he did so. And now he did know, and so did Legolas. Falco shuddered again, thinking how he could not bear seeing them torture the king in the awful ways that they had done to him so many times. It would be unbearable. Sighing, he looked around, searching for another sign of life beside his father in that gloomy place.

Name:
Cristiel
Nickname:
Just call her Cristiel
Age:
Around 3000
Personality:
Cristiel is a brave and outgoing female elf, very adventurous to be a girl. She is an excellent archer, and she also handles elvish swords very well, making her one of the best warriors in Mirkwood and the head officer. She has a lot of energy, and does everything at such a high speed that people often wonder how she does things so fast. Being very perfectionist, she won't stop till something is completely right, and hates lazy people. On the other hand, she can be bossy and arrogant, and will often talk to people like they are stupid if they don't do things well or at the speed she wants them to. She is never satisfied with herself, and always wants to do everything better. She is very active, and can be kind and helpful with people she likes, though sometimes doubts that people like her.
History:
Cristiel was born in the north of Mirkwood to a normal elven family, who treated her well. Her father taught her how to use the bow, but at a young age her parents realized that she had a talent for fighting, being able to do better shots even than her older brothers. Soon, she was hunting for every meal, never failing to catch her prey.
The family knew that she would make a good warrior, and soon made contact with Thranduil, telling him how talented their small daughter was. The elvenking accepted, and so Cristiel left her family to go to the main city in Mirkwood. There she trained hard every day, and was soon at the level of most of the best warriors. Everyone respected the little elf, even Legolas, who took a liking to her imediatley and taught her more fighting skills.
When the war of the ring came, Cristiel insisted on going forth to fight in the battles, but her bow was needed to defend Mirkwood. And so she stayed there till the war ended, and was very glad it was over.
But when the orcs and spiders came, she once again decided to fight, and battled bravely against them. She was much disappointed when they lost, and was one of the few survivors, so along with Legolas and some others, she went into hiding. Cristiel, like everyone else, was full of sorrow at the queen and small prince's death, as she was a very good friend of the king and queen and often visited them. But when news came that the prince was alive, she pulled into action as quick as possible, and was maybe even keener than Legolas to get going. She organized an army and planned an attack, so the king, his attention reclaimed somewhere else, let the task to her. Directing the army, she charged against the numerous orcs, and, surprisingly, won. She then saved Falco from a sure death, and called the best healers to cure the prince. When they were captured, she promised to go and find the king and his son, even if it cost her own life.

Son/Daughter Of:
Daughter of Iriel and Faylir

Wight, Barrow
Age:
Unknown
Personality:
Neither dead or alive, the Wight is cruel and cunning, capturing people on the barrow downs, stealing their treasure and killing them. He/she doesn't feel anything, but is simply hungry and obeys it's longing for what it wants, not thinking on it's own. It is easily ordered about, and once captured will obey anything he/she is told to do. It can easily command orcs, as they are terrified of it, as tales tell that if it catches you, it imprisons you in it's dark barrow, forever. (Sorry for the short personality, I just don't know what a Barrow Wight would be like, lol)
History:
Unknown, really. Some think that the Barrow Wights appeared when the Witch King of Agmar sent evil and perverted spirits of orcs and men to the barrow downs, in order to prevent a resurrection of the destroyed Dúnedain kingdom of Cardolan.
Son/Daughter Of:
Who knows? He could have been an orc, an evil man, a Dúnedain...
Other:
Lol, this is going to be hard to RP, but fun :D

Cristiel

Cristiel walked anxiously on the path that entwined it's way through the woods. Why hadn't the king arrived yet? She was beginning to get worried. They should have returned hours ago, but no sounds came from the forest, so she had gone to look for them. Running quickly along the path, her long black hair went up and down, hitting her back lightly as a worried expression covered her pale face.
Suddenly, she stumbled upon something. It seemed soft and heavy, and she recognised, before even looking at it, that it was an elf's body. Gulping, her gaze travelled to the floor. She was right. Letting out a gasp, she stared intently at the fair elf's face, an expression of pain and surprise covering it as an arrow stuck out of his stomach.
Cristiel breathed in deeply and shut her eyes, looking away, but only for her gaze to stumble upon another corpse. Quickly, she backed up, hitting against a tree as she looked around, horrified. It was not only one dead elf, but many, scattered between the trees and all with arrows sticking out of them. Eyes wide, she finally reacted.
"What has happened here?" she whispered to herself, walking over to the closest body and pulling out an arrow as she observed it slowly. It had black feathers, and the tip was dark and jagged.
"Orcs!" she said, flinging the weapon against the ground and it stuck there, wobbling slightly. Rubbing her forehead, she stood up, hoping the king and the prince weren't dead. She ran through the scattering of dead elves, but none of them she recognised like Legolas nor his son, and soon ran towards the clearing where the fountain was. It was trampled all over, but kneeling on the floor, she noticed that there had not been any struggles, and that meant that they hadn't been captured. Following the footsteps and signs with the precision of a ranger, she was soon following a track through the woods. It looked like two elves had ran along there, but one had heavier steps than the other, maybe he had been injured. After a while they stopped, and Cristiel found a blackened arrow lying on the ground, the blood on it already dry. One had been hit by an arrow, and the other had pulled it out, by the looks of it.
Crouching on the ground, her green eyes observed everything intently. The tracks were hard to read, but she was one of the best in the kingdom, and soon found that one of the elves had left the camp, stopped, and came back, and then he had lit a fire. The wounded person had probably been lying against a big oak tree, as the fire was very near that. But then there had been a struggle. Her eyes narrowed, reading the tracks and churned up earth as easily as an open book. It seemed like the non-injured person had struggled a lot, but ropes had surrounded him, and then he had been pulled into a bush. Then the elf that was hurt had been tied up too, and had also offered some resistance, but not as much as the other one, probably because he was weak. There, the tracks strangely ended, and Cristiel wasn't able to follow them any longer.
Sighing, she sat down on the floor, gazing at the ashes. For some reason she felt, she knew, that it had been the king and his son, and was partly relieved. But they had been captured, and not by orcs. She shuddered slightly thinking about the wounded elf. Was it the king? Was he still alive? Long ago, she had vowed to protect the royal family with her own life, and wasn't going to go back on her promise now.
Suddenly, she heard a shrill whinny, and a white horse trotted through the trees towards her. She knew it, it was Legolas' horse, a beautiful stallion named Arod. It reached Cristiel with a snort, and muzzled her hand. He was still covered in saddle bags, and strangely it's owner's bow was hung over the saddle, along with the elvish knives and many other things. Her green eyes narrowed slightly, determination glowing in them. She had a horse, the best bow in Middle Earth, whose previous owner had been Legolas Greenleaf, prince of Mirkwood, and a promise she had to fulfil. In one elegant swing, she mounted Arod, and turned him south, towards Gondor. She would ride without stop to Aragorn, who was a good friend of the elvish king. From there, she would gather news, and then she would ride wherever the king and his son was, and save them from the great evil that prevailed
"And I shall not stop till I do so" she whispered, tapping Arod's sides as the stallion bolted forwards at a fast gallop, his hooves thudding on the ground.
