How exactly does the hunt work? I'm really excited, and can't wait because it sounds fun ^.^; How is it different from normal holiday adoptions? Do we actually get to go looking for them? What do you mean by refresh time?

During the Hunt, if you were in the forums and scrolled right down to the very bottom of the page, you would sometimes see an Easter-themed banner that you could click on and it would give you either a bunny or an item pack. ^^ The same thing was used during Halloween to give out ghost items and candies you could trade in for pets. Once you've clicked on a banner though, it won't show up again for a certain amount of time (the time until you can see it again will be displayed at the bottom of the page where the banner had been), which is the refresh time, like with adopting from the Pound. During the Hunt last year it started out as half an hour between banners I think, but it dropped to only fifteen minutes later so people had a better chance of reaching the limit. It's a lot of fun, and there always ends up being a massive amount of people online, so the forums are extremely active during the Hunt, too. Banners could appear on any page of the forums, including people's profiles, the 'message sent' screen and (most aggravatingly) the 'preview post' screen, so people would be madly clicking back and forth through pages, poking around the members' list and searching any place they could think of. Of course, the banners appear randomly and were just as likely to appear if you kept going back and forth on the same two pages, but 'hunting' them is more fun. XD

You're right - I got mixed up with the Halloween one that had a much shorter refresh time. ^^; I think the Easter Hunt might have been twelve hours initially, because I remember it was long enough that people would basically only get one banner a day (e.g. people who found one at noon would have wait until after midnight to click another one, and a lot of people couldn't stay up that late). The changed time was short enough that I could go to my classes and be back in time to find another banner. ^^
