Prototype 2? It's pretty fun, even though I wasn't so good with the controller (it was at my friend's house on her PS3). We both finished it together with the power of TEAMWORK (because we're that lame :P), and I've got to say, Mercer is just as attractive as he was in the first game if not more it was interesting, especially when you get a commentary from a third person who dislikes violent games.

I'd like to play it again, but that's kinda hard considering I don't have anything to play it on.

However, I still think the 'series' would've been better without a second game. I think the first was left off pretty well the way it was, and I believe a second was unnecessary. I hope to the gods there isn't a third or more, as things normally go downhill and sound ridiculous after a second or third. Besides, I can't honestly think of a decent plot for another game. :|

Tell me, is the cussing/gore, etc just as bad as the first one, worse, or better?

And seriously Mercer is the sexiest man I've ever seen in a video game in my entire life. I'm so sorry Garry ;n;

I wished the second one would be more about how Alex became the way he was now, how he gained control and become kind of "king" of the hive, that information would have been nice, though. I feel like there was gaps between the two. I wish they had more of a plotline to go off of at the end of the first though, so the second one could make more sense, kind of like Halo. But, eh, that's just me. The second one looks awesome as can be though.

As for swearing and gore, I only played the first game once around a year ago (yes, only then, yet I use Mercer's name as my username on FiM despite the confusion of others :>), so I don't really have a comparison. Perhaps gore is around the same, but possibly more swearing? Though I wouldn't trust my judgement, as I don't have the greatest memory.

And I've got to wholeheartedly agree that Mercer is the sexiest man/thing/whatever in a video game to ever grace my eyes. :3

As well, I don't think I could agree more with your statement at the end. But I guess anything for it is good as long as it doesn't involve Assassin's Creed and doesn't get brutally murdered by over-the-top horrible-ness.

As for swearing and gore, I only played the first game once around a year ago (yes, only then, yet I use Mercer's name as my username on FiM despite the confusion of others :>), so I don't really have a comparison. Perhaps gore is around the same, but possibly more swearing? Though I wouldn't trust my judgement, as I don't have the greatest memory.

It looks so awesome, the graphics look cool too.

But I don't understand one thing.
It's obvious how Mercer didn't kill Heller's wife and kid, it's obvious that he didn't release the virus again after trying to stop it in the first game, so why the hell does Heller hate him so much? Mercer is trying to make things better, he's the good guy. Blackwatch and Gentek are the evil ones, why doesn't Heller fight them, since they're the ones who caused his wife and kid to die. But no, you try and kill Mercer instead. The only game in the universe where you play a good guy trying to kill another good guy. Even in the game play you go off and see for yourself that Blackwatch is the one causing it, and in reality Mercer is the good guy for wanting to get rid of them. He's always been a good guy, though blamed to be bad. He's a freaking anti-hero or whatever, I just don't understand whyfbdskgh

But my friend is clearly an idiot when it comes to playing the game. Her logic: skip cutscenes, play without volume, don't turn on subtitles. And then she asks me "What's going on in the game???" and doesn't know where she is in the game so it's hard to assist her.
Luckily, I'm an encyclopedia of uselessness, so it's all good.

And if I remember correctly, something was released to try and fill in some blanks between the first and second games.

Mercer is the best character I've ever seen in a video game and people say the dude in Infamous is better lol no he looks like a rip off Static to me. Static was a hero that was introduced in a comic released in 1993, and the this dude comes up with about the same powers, weaknesses fhdskas as Static in 2009. e.e and then people say Prototype copied Infamous when they were released in the same year in very close time to one another how would it be possible to copy in that short amount of time.

I don't get what's so great about the inFamous guy either, he's not even attractive! And true dat, it'd be impossible if they were released close to eachother to be a copy. Mercer's powers are also 20% cooler and also I think more orignal. :3

Guess what? I'm taking a video game design class for summer school!! We are there for 6 hours everyday, all days of the week(excluding weekends). It's so fun!! Learning C++ is awesome.
