Boyd looked over at Martian in disgust. "Fine." He muttered. Martian felt very offended by this boy and thought of yelling at him, but something told him he shouldn't.

"Hey!" Penny snapped, "Stop that. That face. I don't appreciated you looking at him like that." Penny glared a moment, "Lead me to the horse." She told Boyd, looking sternly at him.

Boyd nodded his head, leading penny out back, there was an old dark gray horse grazing on the grass. "That's old blue." Boyd said.

"Great." Penny nodded, then looked to Boyd, "Is he friendly or will he buck me right off?" She asked. {WB}

Boyd shook his head. "Blue will do anything, he doesn't buck at all." Boyd said walking up to Blue and leading the horse up to penny.

[Mew. :3]

"Well great!" Penny said, and when the horse was in front of her, she jump on top of him. "Bareback." SHe said with a smile, then remembered that their horse didn't have a saddle either. "Can all you guys ride without a saddle? Otherwise we need to you one of yours."

"No, we've always rode bareback-we never had the money for a saddle." Boyd said he walked over to the horse Penny and Martian had ridden. Martian mounted it first, and helped the two little girls, and finally Boyd. Martian looked at Penny. "We'll take the un-marked path, I highly doubt the guards will be there" Martian said. Though it would be harder for the horses to move around-There would be an unlikely chance there would be guards.

"Okay, good." Penny rode the old horse beside the other. "I'm not going to worry about guards. I want to get there as soon as possible, and the other way could be hard on this horse. I'll meet you guys there, okay?" Penny stated, then she looked at everyone for an okay.

Martian nodded. "Alright, meet you at the stables." Martian said, he started the horse in the dirction he thought best. The horse had to weave through the trees, but the horse was trained to go where it was told, and it would get there and get there as fast as possible.

Penny nodded, waved, and started the horse off at a steady trot. She sighed. This horse really was slow. Even though Martian was going a longer way, he would probably beat Penny.
