[Falls]

Tessa blanched for a moment, taken aback by this new piece of information. She hadn't expected that at all! "Pity," she said, putting on a very fake pout. "And here I thought I'd found my dream man at last!" She clasped her hands together and heaved a sigh of mock disappointment. "Why do all the pretty ones have to be gay?"

Lucien raised his eyebrows at her as she clasped her hands together, and he huffed a laugh. "What? I look way better than Ungolim, if you haven't noticed." Lucien puffed conceitedly, folding his legs criss-cross. He reached back to pluck another leaf out of his hair from his fall earlier, and he undid the ponytail. Once he'd smoothed out his long, dark hair, he put the ponytail back in place, giving a grumbling sigh.

[Falls]

"Oh yes, and so humble as well!" Tessa rolled her eyes, idly watching Lucien as he plucked another leaf from his hair. "So, you got here pretty fast. What'd you do, mount your horse in a hurry and gallop all the way here to save the dying damsel?" She arched an eyebrow, actually genuinely curious as to how Lucien had gotten to her so quickly once invited to join her.

"Well, I actually went for a walk myself, then Shadowmere decided to join me." Lucien scoffed, rolling his eyes, even though that story wasn't 100% accurate. Shadowmere had decided to scare the daylights out of him and make him fall in the leaves. Stupid horse... He shook his eyes, glancing at Shadowmere as she turned and walked off into the woods once again, flicking her tail.

Tessa glanced to Shadowmere as she turned and ambled off, probably bored with the chatting humans in front of her. "Yeah? And so Shadowmere followed you and stuck leaves in your hair?" she asked, the sarcasm evident in her voice. "Or do they magically magnetize to your head every time you walk outside?"

Lucien gave an exasperated sigh; "I fell. There." he grumbled, though there was amusement lining his deep voice as he spoke. "Actually, I'm so amazing that the leaves decided to fly in my hair. Better?" he added on, a smirk now adorning his lips as he ran a hand over his hair, making sure he didn't miss any leaves or twigs.

Tessa rolled her grey-blue eyes at Lucien second explanation. "Uh huh, and I'm the Queen of England," she muttered back to him. "What other awesome things does your awesomeness attract, pray tell?" she asked sarcastically, arching an eyebrow at Lucien.

Lucien scoffed, rolling his eyes right back at Tessa. "Well, it seems that I've attracted a gay man and a "dying damsel"." he huffed, arching a brow in Tessa's direction, his brown eyes on her foggy blue irises as he watched her. He'd gotten the last leaf out of his hair, thankfully, so he stopped fiddling with that. "But, it also seems that the dying damsel has attracted a certain vampire." he said in a lower town, tilting his head slightly as his eyes remained on Tessa.

Tessa spluttered, blushing furiously at Lucien's first statement. She was about to ask him what made him think he'd attracted the dying damsel when the mention of Vicente shut her up. She was silent for a moment, secretly panicking inside before she gave a nervous laugh. "Well, now you're making it sound like a bad Twilight story," she said with a smile as she awkwardly rubbed at the back of her neck. "Who says the vampire is attracted to the damsel?"

Lucien raised his eyebrows, "Twilight is just plain stupid, I don't know what is wrong with the author," he began, moving onto the other segment of his sentence. "And it's quite obvious. Either he can't keep secrets or he's very bad at hiding them. You can just tell by the way he looks at you, Tessa." he murmured, folding his legs criss-cross, clasping his hands loosely together as he looked to her, carefully surveying her expression.
