even if they are not on my WL.
I know I can trade them for things I want.

This. Or when someone posts that they have a pet you really want for trade so you send an offer and they go offline.

I generally don't mind people asking for VC/C/UC/R/VR pet gifts back, but when the pet is on the Rares List, I generally dress it up and go AMGTHISISSOCUTE and get attached.

This person asked for a pet on the Rares list they gave me on these grounds:
1) Because of my argument with someone
2) Because I'm "quitting"
And saying they'll get a mod to reverse it.

mines on the principal that its a gift.

you gave it because you wanted to.
noone forced or coerced you.
now, you are welcome to TRADE for the gift back,
but dont expect me to just hand it back over.
i mean i woul dmaybe make an exception, if it had been gifted to them, and they could prove it
and could also show that the original gifter was really upset that they had regifted it.
