PersonalityNare sees himself as a professional chief who studies the various arts of making sushi. As a young rune he wandered the streets teaching himself in the arts of making sushi. He practiced his slicing and organizing skills behind the dumpster of a local sushi stand in the main lands of Orient. Nare luckily was noticed for his talents and became a sushi stand's managers apprentice. Soon enough he raised to becoming the main chief of the stand, drawing in a good number of customers. Due to all this Nare took it upon himself to study the culture behind the food he creates, day after day after the stand closes he would practice slicing the tuna or salmons to perfection. He will not stand for imperfect sushi, everything he makes he enjoys pouring his soul into so imperfects are out of the question.
Nare does not enjoy the company of rude individuals and he will not stand for anyone bad mouthing or causing problems in his sushi stand but he does love to be praised for his hard work. Praise seems to make him work harder in an attempt to impress others. Nare refuses to give up when he fails in something, he is almost like a stubborn bull at times. Whatever he sets his mind onto he will head off to accomplish, that is what makes Nare one of a kind.
Why do you wish to have himWhen I was a little girl my dad used to work at a local sushi bar in New York. Every night when he came home he would bring bags of sushi which he would make for me, that is how I first learned what sushi is and it became my most favorite food in the world. In fact the very first type of sushi I ever tasted is the California roll which had three of my favorite ingredients in it, crab meat, avocado, and tobiko which is flying fish roe. At first I wondered what roe was but I later on found out it was fish eggs and the orange color of the roe reminded me of this runes body. In fact the runes texture and main body color reminds me of pickled ginger that would come with my sushi. His lovely back looks a lot like salmon sashimi to me which is a strip of raw salmon meat on rice. As for the cute green color you gave him made me think of seaweed though the seaweed on sushi looks blackish but it made me happy you didn't make the green black because it just seemed to draw his warmer colors out. What I love to most about him is his adorable sushi mark on his wings, as well as the chopstick like horns he has along with the best part which is his eyes. His eyes remind me of a California roll when you look at it from above and it really brought back happy memories which made me love him even more. Oh, and I promise not to eat him!
Where will you keep himI love him so much that I want to just take him everywhere with me. In fact I think I might even try to make a plushie of him once I get to find the right color fabrics. Then I will put him in my signature so everyone can see how wonderful he looks. The next plan I have for him is to make a page dedicated to him and start this idea about a web comic that will be about him, I plan to post pages of the comic on that page for everyone to read. I just can't get enough of him, hes just so much fun to work with!

Any QuirksWell ever since Nare joined the Sushi stand he watched people eat. One day he noticed a couple of the customers slightly bow there heads and put there hands together to say "Itadakimasu" before eating. This seemed to interest Nare and once the stand's manager noticed his stares so Nare was informed of how that type of behavior is a polite thing to do before eating a meal in certain countries. After learning about this Nare took it to heart, practicing his custom every time he had a meal. Since he is a rune dragon Nare was unable to talk so he would make a chirp of gratefulness and bow before eating to be polite. Since it was a strange habit even for a rune dragon Nare normally ate in solitude. The only people he ate near are the people he felt comfortable with, one would be the manager of the sushi stand. His second habit would be to do a little bow with his right wing across his front with a chirp when ever he presents his food to others, its almost as if hes attempt to say "I now present you with your meal."

Plushie version of Nare-ZushiComic about Nare-Zushi Part 1(X3 I really enjoyed writing about him and since I am bad at writing stories I thought, why not write a comic? So I made Part 1 of his long comic which I really hope to continue, this rune is so adorable that I just can't stop drawing him! <3 Oh and in the picture with him and the plate of sushi he made, what hes standing on is supposed to be a table and behind him is a colorful painting of a bamboo forest v.v I still need to practice my backgrounds but anyway, I hope you guys enjoy my form! I hope it wasn't boring XD)
