The Blue Moon
There was a girl(We'll call her Amanda) who worked at a ranch for an older widowed woman(we'll call her Miss Anne), and one day she was in the hayloft getting hay, of course, when one of the horses screamed. Amanda rushed down to look for the horse, but then remembered all the horses were out in the far field, so she continued on with her work, mucking out the stalls, putting down fresh straw, getting fresh hay in there, putting feed in the buckets, medications in the bucket of the injured horse, and hosing off the main floor.
Well around noon, Amanda went inside for lunch, there was a note on the counter.
I had to go up to the store and take Daisy to the vet, she's just been moping around all day, not like a normal dog. I should be back in a few hours, lunch is in the fridge.

Amanda didn't think to much of it, so she ate her lunch and went back outside, the horses were gathered at the gate, waiting to come in to eat, so Amanda let them in, and as she was shutting the gate back up, she saw a white horse out in the pasture, she could only see it's side though, but she left it alone, it wasn't one that lived here and Miss Anne had told her that there were alot of strange happenings around here.
Well later that day, Amanda told Miss Anne about the screaming horse she heard, and also about the white horse. Miss Anne told her something.
Years ago, we had a white horse called Captain, but he died in the same barn fire as my husband, exactly half of Captain's body was burned off, leaving only a skeleton on the one half, but he is only seen when something bad is about to happen.
Amanda shivered slightly, then asked if it was a full moon tonight, Miss Anne nodded and smiled a toothless smile, it was also the blue moon, the time of bad luck.
Later that night, Amanda wis finishing her chores in the barn, when she looked up at the empty stall, she noticed it was still charred, she looked away for a moment, then back once more, and looking her in the face was a white horse with a faint glow, half of his face was normal, the other half was bone. Amanda screamed and fell back, into someone's legs, she looked up, it was Miss Anne.
"Captain, he, he was right there." She cried, then slowly stood up, then she noticed something, Miss Anne was see-through.
"Yes, he said it was time for you to join us." She said, then Amanda looked around, all the horses were transparent as well, she screamed, but was silenced by a slice to her throat.
"So sorry hun, but you'll like it here, better now." Miss Anne said and stepped away from Amanda's body.
A few weeks later, police arrived, neighbors had been complaining about a terrible smell, the police didn't understand, as everything was burned down and gone, but in the middle of the barns remains, they found Amanda's body, they took it and left, wondering why the girl had been there, this place had been burnt down for years now.
It is said that when you come to this site, you can still see the ghosdtly white horse, and everything as it was, including a livley Amanda and elderly Miss Anne.
Not true, I just made it up.
