I was just sat there. A normal day after school. Getting covered in paint in art. Being bored to death in history. The usual for a tuesday. My parents had just gone out shopping, so I was sat writing a horror story on an internet forum, and listening to All Time Low (the band, not the song) when I got the hiccups. I tried holding my breath and swallowing three times, I tried a double breath, and I tried a drink of water. Nothing worked. Then again it never did.
The voices. My parents always said I had a talent. This one is hearing people's thoughts, and sometimes if I try really hard I can have a conversation with them in their mind. They never told me how I got this. They always seemed to avoid the subject. I guess it's something to do with my real dad. He left when I was a child. I never knew him. All I know is his nick-name. Ipogios. I'm guessing he got it because he spent half his time underground, I don't know.
After reminiscing about my "tallent" I heard the door knocking. Probably one of the little toad's friends wanting him to come out and play. Do I ever get any me time?
Turns out it wasn't.
Two men were stood there. he first was asking for me.
"What's it to you?" I asked him.
"My, you do have your father's attitude." He mused.
"Sorry. but who are you, and how do you know my name any..."
"Tethys, my dear, I am your father's brother. I contacted your mother a couple of days ago. I am Posied...Paul. And here is my older brother Zeu...Zain. We were to collect you to take you to Half-Blood lake to meet your father." He butted in.
"Right. I'm supposed to believe two men who have had to alter their names. One of which seems dripping wet, and the other is charged with elcticity. Do you seriously think I'm gonna believe you?"
If you dont believe us then you can't possibaly be reading my mind right now then.
"GET OUT OF MY HEAD!"
I'm not in your head, my dear. You are in mine.
"FINE! Lemme leave a note for my mum. Gods help me."
I left a note saing that I'd gone with uncle "Paul" and "zain" and I wouldn't know when I'd be back, put my boots on, and left with "Paul and "Zain". Gods help me.
The trip seemed instantaneous. And as promised, there was my dad. Seemingly swathed in shadow. This is going off to a plesant start.
Well, we've finaly met. Tethys, I am your father, but I'm not a mortal. Hades is the name. Drippy and sparky over there are Posiedon and Zeus.
He gestured to "Paul" and "Zain" behind me.
You, my pet, are a demi-god. Being of both mortal and immortal blood. You wish to learn of your powers? Follow me and I will teach you the full extent of your skills. Telepathy being one of many. Transmorphousis and telekenesis are two more. Join me and you can be the first to witness these. Please?
And as he said that a huge etheral gateway opened up behind him. I'd read up on Greek mythology, it's my favourite. And I knew what was waiting for me in the nether. Helpless lost souls. Deamons. Hell hounds. And not to mention Cerberus and Persephone. Cerberus. What a creature!
"I'll do it!"
Excellent. Right this way.
I stepped through the portal, never to be seen or heard from again. My mother put out missing notices for me, but after a while people forgot about me. And eventually you will too dear reader.

Fee Fi Fo Fum, I got 4

The Boyfriend's death

A woman and her boyfriend were on their way home from somewhere (not important) one night, and suddenly his car ran out of gas. It was about one in the morning and they were completely alone in the middle of the nowhere.

The guy stepped out of the car, saying comfortingly to his girlfriend, "Don't worry, I'll be right back. I'm just going to go out for some help. Lock the doors, though."

She locked the doors and sat restlessly, waiting for her boyfriend to come back. Suddenly, she sees a shadow fall across her lap. She looks up to see... not her boyfriend, but a strange, crazed looking man. He is swinging something in his right hand.

He sticks his face close to the window and slowly pulls up his right hand. In it is her boyfriend's decapitated head, twisted horribly in pain and shock. She shuts her eyes in horror and tries to make the image go away. When she opens her eyes, the man is still there, grinning psychotically. He slowly lifts his left hand, and he is holding her boyfriend's keys... to the car.

The Hook- A Urban Legend

A teenage boy drove his date to a dark and deserted Lovers' Lane for a make-out session. After turning on the radio for mood music, he leaned over and began kissing the girl.

A short while later, the music suddenly stopped and an announcer's voice came on, warning in an urgent tone that a convicted murderer had just escaped from the state insane asylum — which happened to be located not far from Lovers' Lane — and that anyone who noticed a strange man lurking about with a hook in place of his right hand should immediately report his whereabouts to the police.

The girl became frightened and asked to be taken home. The boy, feeling bold, locked all the doors instead and, assuring his date they would be safe, attempted to kiss her again. She became frantic and pushed him away, insisting that they leave. Relenting, the boy peevishly jerked the car into gear and spun its wheels as he pulled out of the parking space.

When they arrived at the girl's house she got out of the car, and, reaching to close the door, began to scream uncontrollably. The boy ran to her side to see what was wrong and there, dangling from the door handle, was a bloody hook.

Buried Alive,No?

My great grandmother, ill for quite some time, finally passed away after lying in a coma for several days. My great grandfather was devastated beyond belief, as she was his one true love and they had been married over 50 years. They were married so long it seemed as if they knew each other's innermost thoughts.

After the doctor pronounced her dead, my great grandfather insisted that she was not. They had to literally pry him away from his wife's body so they could ready her for burial.

Now, back in those days they had backyard burial plots and did not drain the body of its fluids. They simply prepared a proper coffin and committed the body (in its coffin) to its permanent resting place. Throughout this process, my great grandfather protested so fiercely that he had to be sedated and put to bed. His wife was buried and that was that.

That night he woke to a horrific vision of his wife hysterically trying to scratch her way out of the coffin. He phoned the doctor immediately and begged to have his wife's body exhumed. The doctor refused, but my great grandfather had this nightmare every night for a week, each time frantically begging to have his wife removed from the grave.

Finally the doctor gave in and, together with local authorities, exhumed the body. The coffin was pried open and to everyone's horror and amazement, my great-great grandmother's nails were bent back and there were obvious scratches on the inside of the coffin.

The Babysitter and the Man Upstairs

A married couple were going out for the evening and called in a teenage babysitter to take care of their three children. When she arrived they told her they probably wouldn't be back until late, and that the kids were already asleep so she needn't disturb them.

The babysitter starts doing her homework while awaiting a call from her boyfriend. After awhile the phone rings. She answers it, but hears no one on the other end — just silence, then whoever it is hangs up. After a few more minutes the phone rings again. She answers, and this time there's a man on the line who says, in a chilling voice, "Have you checked the children?"

Click.

At first she thinks it might have been the father calling to check up and he got interrupted, so she decides to ignore it. She goes back to her homework, then the phone rings again. "Have you checked the children?" says the creepy voice on the other end.

"Mr. Murphy?" she asks, but the caller hangs up again.

She decides to phone the restaurant where the parents said they'd be dining, but when she asks for Mr. Murphy she is told that he and his wife had left the restaurant 45 minutes earlier. So she calls the police and reports that a stranger has been calling her and hanging up. "Has he threatened you?" the dispatcher asks. No, she says. "Well, there's nothing we can really do about it. You could try reporting the prank caller to the phone company."

A few minutes go by and she gets another call. "Why haven't you checked the children?" the voice says.

"Who is this?" she asks, but he hangs up again. She dials 911 again and says, "I'm scared. I know he's out there, he's watching me."

"Have you seen him?" the dispatcher asks. She says no. "Well, there isn't much we can do about it," the dispatcher says. The babysitter goes into panic mode and pleads with him to help her. "Now, now, it'll be okay," he says. "Give me your number and street address, and if you can keep this guy on the phone for at least a minute we'll try to trace the call. What was your name again?"

"Linda."

"Okay, Linda, if he calls back we'll do our best to trace the call, but just keep calm. Can you do that for me?"

"Yes," she says, and hangs up. She decides to turn the lights down so she can see if anyone's outside, and that's when she gets another call.

"It's me," the familiar voice says. "Why did you turn the lights down?"

"Can you see me?" she asks, panicking.

"Yes," he says after a long pause.

"Look, you've scared me," she says. "I'm shaking. Are you happy? Is that what you wanted?"

"No."

"Then what do you want?" she asks.

Another long pause. "Your blood. All over me."

She slams the phone down, terrified. Almost immediately it rings again. "Leave me alone!" she screams, but it's the dispatcher calling back. His voice is urgent.

"Linda, we've traced that call. It's coming from another room inside the house. Get out of there! Now!!!"

She tears to the front door, attempting to unlock it and dash outside, only to find the chain at the top still latched. In the time it takes her to unhook it she sees a door open at the top of the stairs. Light streams from the children's bedroom, revealing the profile of a man standing just inside.

She finally gets the door open and bursts outside, only to find a cop standing on the doorstep with his gun drawn. At this point she's safe, of course, but when they capture the intruder and drag him downstairs in handcuffs, she sees he is covered in blood. Come to find out, all three children have all been murdered.

Just something I've read in a book titled 'Scary Stories' (I cant remember what the story is called)
A girl named Jade and her boyfriend John where driving home one night after going to the movies when the car broke down on an country road next to an old house. "Hey Jade why don't you stay in the car while I go check out this house to see if anyone is inside" He said and Jade agreed to stay in the car. After a while Jade got bored and turned on the radio only to hear an emergency report that a very dangerous cereal killer just broke out of prison and was on the lose in the town that Jade and John where currently in. Jade just turned down the radio and waited for John to come back thinking they would be safe she fell asleep 10 minutes later to the sound of dripping that sounded like the rain.
In the morning when she woke up the police surrounded the car and one policeman knocked on the door. She opened the window and he said "I need you to step out of the car please, ma'am." She did as he said and looked up. John hung from the street light above the car and she screamed as she saw his neck was cut and a knife was stabbed through his stomach.

Once there was a little girl named Clarissa, she was at the hospital.Clarissa was abused by her parents before she came, right now her parents were dying in the room behind the wall she was on the other side of.The way Clarissa...partly...wanted it to be.She hoped she was able to kill her parents before the police came.Clarissa lied by saying her uncle (who was a policeman) did it.The ambulance came and took her to the hospital while her uncle was being arrested.Clarissa made it look like her uncle did it by using a tazer and handcuffs to kill her parents. She hid an evil smile once she heard her uncle was put to justice. But then everything backfired... the doctor came out of the room "Clarissa? Why'd you do it?" he calmly asked.Clarissa gave an angry scream, out of no where she pulled out a knife and stabbed the doctor.Security came quickly and kept her away from patients/visitors etc,her uncle was set free.At midnight,Clarissa killed herself.People say they can still see her sitting on the bench once a year on... June 26th.Whoever reads this story shall die at 12:00 AM.
