Kafele watched as his Ribbons, which had taken him FOREVER to make, turned to thin strips of fabric. He saw Starling shoot an arrow at Nava for the second time that week, and the arrow burst into flames. Starling also threw her sword at him, before he could react, the sword stopped. He saw three people. He could only guess that they were Nava and Luke's parents. He quietly grabbed his bag and turned the corner into the next alley.

Nava pulling from her mom ran after him. "Kafele!" She called after him. "Kafele please stop!" She found herself infront of him her blue eyes glowing with sadness as she stood infront of him. "Please stop." she whispered.

Her brother and parents walked around to the alley and stood watching. Luke turned and chased Starling. His mom stood looking amazed at Nava. His dad just scowled. "Luke what is going on?" Luke stood next to his dad. "Oh that's Kafele he likes Nava........................or did i think." He growled angrily.

Kafele heard footsteps behind him. He turned and faced Nava. Her face was filled iwth sadness. Kafele flinched slightly. "Nava...Navalia, I can't stay." He shook his head. "I just can't."

Nava flinched when he used her full name. "Kafele...why are you doing this?" She looked at him and tried to hold back her tears. "Please dont call me by my full name...." Nava stepped around him. Whispering in his ear she said, "Good-bye." She ran away from his side and vanished down the alley.

((HIII! YOU'RE BACK! How was your trip?))

Kafele watched her go. With every step she took, Kafele's heart was breaking. Kafele couldn't stand it. He bolted after her. "Nava! Wait!"

Nava ran faster. She didn't want to run but what she saw scared her. Her ears twichted as she heard him calling after her. She felt her heart break.

Kafele growled quietly. Summoning the picture of the hieroglyphs for the words move forward in his mind, he felt the pull of magic, and appeared in front of Nava. He gripped her in a hug tightly. "Nava," he whispered softly, "I am so sorry. Please, don't leave me."

Nava shrieked, she started to cry. "Then why are you leaving?" Her ears twitched and she cried harder.

Kafele slid his bag off of his shoulder. "Because your brother dislikes me."
