Jedi shakily stood up on his hind legs, and ignited his saber.

[Quail]

Alanna held her lightsaber in a fierce grip and waited, her hand extended to give a warning bolt. She may have looked all dark sider but Britta's words echoed some of her thoughts.

Mother... Gasping as both her legs were laying, separated from her body. A figure with a green lightsaber stood. Her former master. "Mom! No mom!" her cries were lost to a now dead being. This Jedi stood and glared at her. In his gravely voice he said "You left the Order. This is how you pay." rage and grief filled her and she began to tremble as she fell to her knees. "You... You killed her?!" she chocked out. The Jedi only nodded and smirked at her. Gripping her lightsaber she charged at him, screaming with all the pain. He was caught off surprise. The duel only lasted seconds before he cut off his sword arm. Glaring, he said " You'll never have your revenge will you?" he jumped onto his speeder and drove off, teeth gritting in the spasms of pain. She ran to her mother, stumbling. "Mom? Mom wake up! Please mom! Wake up!" she cried sobbing.

Alanna closed her eyes rightly at the memory and her resolve weakened slightly.

Cossan looked over to Kanar nonchalantly and smirked. "Relax Kanar, you're in the Jedi temple's sick bay." He motioned for Kanar to sit down again and continued. "Don't even think about trying to escape, I think you already know what you're up against."

(I wouldn't go calling other characters pathetic when your own character isn't doing so hot either.)

Kanar narrowed his eyes,
"Yeah, I figured all that out for myself, thanks," he said. He didn't sit down. Understandably, he didn't trust Cossan in the least. He wasn't about to let his guard down. He glanced towards the door as a young Twilek Jedi Knight came into the room. She glared at Cossan,
"Cossan, I told you to go wait outside the infirmary," she said.
Kanar couldn't help but smirk a little. The Twilek turned on him,
"Don't think that means you're getting off scott free, mister. Since you're awake and appear to be doing fine, we'll be transporting you to the prison level soon. The Council has a few questions to ask you," she said.
Kanar's smirk disappeared rather quickly.

Britta could see that her words had had some effect on Alanna,
Thank goodness.
"Alanna, if you surrender now we won't be too harsh on you but we will take you by force if we have to. If you come back to the Temple with us we can straighten everything out. I'm hard pressed to believe that a Jedi killed your family. That's not something the Order would do. Come back with us and we can figure out what really happened. You will face justice, yes, but so will whoever is responsible for your grief. That won't happen if you don't come with us quietly," she said.

Cossan rolled his eyes. "Just making sure this idiot doesn't try anything stupid." He got up hand, resting lightly on his dagger and strode out of the room, but he refused to go any further than that. Just incase he attempts any sort of escape. He thought to himself.

[Quail]

Alanna shook her head. " He's already gone. He killed himself before I could take my own justice. My former master killed what was left of my family all because I decided to leave the order because I just didn't belie pave in it anymore." her eyes grew slightly moist as she began to battle within herself.

Kanar sighed in frustration and sat down on the bed. The door closed behind Cossan and the Twilek as they left. He looked around the room for something, anything, he could use to get out. He didn't spot anything immediately obvious though which discouraged him a little, but not enough for him to give up.

The Twilek Jedi locked the door to Kanar's room behind her. She looked at Cossan,
"Sorry for snapping at you," she said, "But it looked like you freaked him out quite a bit. I've been told he's dangerous and I didn't want you setting him off. I'm Zulara Isod, Jedi Healer."

Britta nodded,
"Your former master may have been corrupted by the Dark Side. Sometimes this happens to masters who loose their Padawans. They grow attached to their students and when they leave or die they can't handle it. He must have been angry that you chose to leave the Order, chose to leave him. He gave in to his anger and...we you know what happened after that," she said, "Perhaps he killed himself because he felt guilty. He couldn't imagine returning to the Order after what he'd done. He decided death was a better alternative. None of what happened was your fault."

Cossan glanced over at Zulara. "Don't worry about him, he's been through worse." He patted his knife smirking a little bit. "I think you already know, but I'm Cossan Tainn, fighter pilot."

"Nice to meet you, Cossan," Zulara said, "And, yes, I did know," she laughed softly, "After all, it's not ever day that a non-Jedi comes into the Temple. You were brought in from Shili, correct?"
