"Hmm.. Why must you give me such a hard question?" Iris teased,
before sitting up straight and clearing her throat. "I started climbing
trees, about the age of four. I made it to the fifth branch and it
snapped. An assassino had been snooping around, and heard the
branch fall and my scream. He saved me, but left instantly. " Iris
breathed and then continued. "I followed him for a few days, with
a stray black cat following him. He only noticed me when his small
cat purred and purred and flicked her tail in a bush. He came
over to the bush, and saw me. Grunting, he gave me a bow and a
single arrow and told me to find myself some food. I did as I was
told and caught a small bird. We shared it and he taught me how
to care for myself, how to hunt, how to be an assassino. He died
one day from (place sickness here)."

Damiano listened intently as Ravenna spoke of this black market king "Basilio", folding his arms across his chest as she continued. His attention was caught briefly by the target's merchandise, poisons and anything of the sort. An intriguing and deadly thing, posion was, and that was why Damiano loved to use it. He had been taught several types of poisons himself. "Va bene," he said. "Basilio will be the first target to find. I'm assuming he's in the marketplace, no?" He turned his gaze away from Ravenna for a moment. "You lead, I'll follow," he added.

"You're from France?" Riccardo asked, raising an eyebrow. "Tu parli bene l'italiano per una francese ragazza," he smiled at Iris. "It was nice of him to give you a horse, and young enough for you to train her herself," he said, glancing at Alarai as the horse came over, then walked away with the treat. His gaze turned to the gelding, Cenere, he decided to name him, to keep it simple. He whistled softly, and the horse perked his ears up and looked at Riccardo. The assassin grinned and whistled louder, a simple two-note sound. The gelding took a step towards the stream, watching the two humans.
