Maybell pushed out of the cage as soon as it was open. She was shaking and and went right up to Shadow and sat down in front of him, "I'm so sorry, I didn't mean get caught." she said bowing her head. She felt so stupid and wished that she wouldn't have gotten caught.

"hey," he said softly "Im not mad, there is no way you could have saw that comming," he licked her cheek trying to comfort her. "we should get out of here, tho before they come back," he said nudging her in the direction they were orginally going in. then looked away and spit blood out of his mouth, the latch had cut the inside of his cheek.

Maybell felt him lick her cheek and she looked up at him letting him nudge her in the right direction. When she saw him spit blood she got a little worried, "Are you okay, I means your bleeding." she said looking concerned for him now. It was making her feel bad that she had gotten caught, because then he had to come get her and was now bleeding. She really wished it wouldn't happen, but now all she could do was hope that he was okay and maybe get him help.

Shadow looked at her "I'm fine, its just a small cut. It'll heal quickly" he said like it was nothing "we need to get out of here now" he said urgently picking up his pace a little.

Maybell trotted after him pushing through the bushes and out of sight. She hurried on, but she still worried for him and his mouth. He could have just been playing it off as a small cut, and if it wasn't then he may be more hurt then he is putting on, "Are you sure you are okay we could go back to the pack or find some place to rest." she said looking at his mouth worried.

Shadow laughed softly "I'm not hurt that bad, it just pinched the skin." he kept walking "And we cant stop not yet, we need to get away from those humans" he said worrily

Maybell gave him one last worried glance before leading the way towards a good spot where she knew they would be far enough away from the humans and it was a nice safe spot. She pushed through the bushes as she picked her way towards it, "Okay, there is a spot a little ways towards the adventure I was going to take you on that we could stop and maybe hunt and rest." she said pushing forwards past a bush that was catching at her fur a little.

Shadow scented the air no traces of humans he relaxed. "yes i think that would be good. im a little hungery." he said licking his lips.

Maybell walked in silence towards the spot still feeling bad about getting him into that situation. She was also thinking about other things, and why she was so worried about Shadow and her own feelings. As she pushed through some more bushes it opened up onto a nice warm looking clearing with a rock in the middle of it. She walked forwards and laid down stretching out against the rock.
