Britta narrowed her eyes,
Another minute and he would have been, she thought. She looked at Cossan't dagger in the alley behind Kanar. She called it to her hand with the Force. She flipped it around and held the hilt out towards Cossan,
"Here," she said.
Sorry Cossan, but I don't quite trust you not to do something stupid.

Kanar released a breath he hadn't known he'd been holding when the Jedi showed up. He didn't like the Jedi, but they wouldn't kill him at least. She wasn't a moment too soon in arriving. Kanar's vision became completely obscured by swirling, flashing colors and patches of red. He lost the ability to tell what was up and what was down. Before he knew it he was sinking to his knees. He gritted his teeth and tried to stay conscious. His efforts didn't do much.

Cossan took the hilt and smiled. "Thanks, I wouldn't want to loose this." He looked over to Kanar, who seemed to be unconcious. Rolling his eyes he walked up, placing an arm under his knees and another around his back he hoisted Kanar up. "Come on, better take him to the temple before he bleeds to death."

Britta nodded,
"Why don't you take him to the airspeeder. I need to make sure that Jedi's alright," she said. She had a really bad feeling in the pit of her stomach. She turned and began walking quickly back to the shop.

[haitus]

Cossan nodded. "Don't worry, I promise you won't find him dead the next time we meet." He looked down at Kanar's face and rolled his eyes, beginning to walk back to the airspeeder.You're damn lucky I have a concience Kanar.

[Quail]

Alanna sensed Britta returning. She blasted Jedi with another bolt of lightning, and it started to singe his long fur. A few smoke trails also curled off and disappeared. Alanna turned and waited for Brittas arrival.

Britta's eyes widened when she saw lightning inside the shop. She rushed inside and looked at Jedi then back at Alanna,
"Stand down, Sith," she said. Her tone was even but it held an unspoken threat in it.

[Quail]

"Why should I when you, the only family I had ever really had, betrayed me?" she asked slowly eyes closed as she powered up her lightsaber nice more.

[haitus]

Cossan arrived at the speeder and set Kanar down in the back seat. Sighing, he plopped in the front reving up the engine and pulling out into the street.

"Alanna, I'm sorry that what happened to you did, but revenge isn't going to bring back your mother or your happiness. Seeking revenge will only make you angrier and more miserable," Britta said, "When I was a Padawan my master was killed. I thought that seeking revenge would somehow make things right but it didn't. It only estranged me from the rest of the Order. Avenging his death didn't make things any better for me. It only brought me trouble."

She paused a moment and looked at Alanna sadly. There was so much anger, so much hate, trapped inside this girl. She had a feeling that her words would be wasted on her. This girl had given herself to the Dark Side to reach a pointless end. It was almost impossible to bring back misguided people such as this.

"Alanna, please," Britta said, more softly this time, "Don't give in to hatred. You can't change the past. Let it go."

[haitus]

After a few minutes of ducking and weaving through traffic, they finally pulled up to the temple. Cossan sighed, parking the speeder and picking up Kanar again. He strode into the temple, Kanar in his arms, ignoring the strange looks from other Jedi. Walking up to the medical bay he sighed and spoke. "We need emergency help over here."
