Snowshoe shushed him. "There's a dog and a cat there.: she whispered. The dog was chained, but he could alarm humans. She crouched low and beckoned him toward a burrow she dug that led under the fence and into he flara patch.

Snowshoe sniffed. "I don't know where, but I smell him. He's close, but doesn't sound like he's gonna attack yet." She squirmed through the hole and motioned him to stay. "Keep an eye out," she whispered and picked up cabbage. she rolled it down the hole and picked up a carrot. she stuffed it in the hole and looked for some more.

She picked up a tomato and saw the cat. "Move! Grab a flara and go!" she cried. she shoved the flara out the burrow and looked back seeing the cat comming. She shoved the tomato in her cheek and picked up the carrot and hopped toward the warren in a hurry.
