(Ok guys, I refuse to be one of those RPs where the cats just derp around and go on patrols whenever they please, we need to get these patrols moving. Lionblaze <3, if you don't post soon than I'm going to have to kick you out of the role-play as you gave no prior warning to your absence. Your not being here has effected the role-pay moving onward already, and we can't risk that anymore. You need to get Mintpaw on that hunting patrol, and Pinkie, you also need to get Mouseeye on that patrol.

I'm going to be raking through the Clan list of characters and putting a bright red "SET FOR DELETION, PM NIM" by all the cats that are no longer active. If you wish to keep those characters, PM me and start posting on them. Having extra characters lying around slows the role-play down and stops people from joining, and we don't need any more of that. I know I've done my part in not posting, but we can't have these cats that are supposed to be patrolling sitting around. Maple[kit] is still out in the forest waiting to be found by the hunting patrol led by Iristail, and they haven't even left yet.

I know Zippy has left us until Friday, and that puts a damper on things, but I don't believe that she meant that we couldn't use her characters at all. I'll keep their use limited, but since they're very much needed right now I'll power-play them for the sake of patrols and training. After that, they'll going into a hibernation type of sleep in the dens until Zippy returns.

Shadowstar
"Yes yes, progressing now," he said, shaking away his feelings. He craned his neck slightly and looked off after Sunfur and Lilypaw. "Have fun training!" he called after them wistfully. "Now then," he said, turning back to Rainpaw and Skyburst. Shadowstar looked around, the trees blocked most of his view. "Let's stay quiet from here on out, maybe the prey will start to come out from their nests," he told them, glancing at Skyburst with a playful glare. "That is, if you can manage staying quiet long enough, Skyburst."

Lilypaw
Lilypaw smiled, looking back at Rainpaw. "Thank you, we will!" she shouted at her leader. She tried to keep up with Sunfur. Hot on her mentor's heels, she could see the hill leading up to the field. She loved battle training, but she slightly wished that Rainpaw was by her side. Everything was better with Rainpaw. He was so sweet, and kind, and just nice all over.

Iristail
Iristail rolled her eyes at Hawksight, the overly-hyper sister to the medicine cat. "Around the forest, Hawksight. Come on Mouseeye, Mintpaw, we need to get a move on or all the prey will be back in their dens for the night." Iristail exaggerated to get her point across. She trotted out of the camp and into the forest. The scents from the patrols that had just left led off into different paths, and she headed off into the deeper forest where prey would be practically everywhere.

Hawksight
Hawksight trotted cheerfully and lightly after Iristail, her tail waving happily back and forth. Hunting was probably her favorite thing to do. She loved hunting. What's not awesome about food after all? Hawksight really wanted to say something about how awesome hunting was but she knew, contrary to what some cats believed, when it was the time to be quiet. And hunting was one of those time. She sniffed the air, hoping for the scent of bird. Bird was her favorite prey. Very tasty. Plus, feathers made nests very soft. Unfortunetly, she couldn't smell any bird.

((And... I've never hunted in an RP before and I'm tired so I'm going to leave it at that.))

Skyburst

Skyburst rolled her eyes at Shadowstar. "I'll bet I can stay quiet longer than you could." she told him loftily, exaggerating her silence by lifting each paw lightly off te ground and placing it ever do delicately on the ground in order to not make any sound. She shot a pleased look at Shadowstar, silently saying Haha! Told you I can be quiet! she kept this up as teu neared the spot they were reaching. Her ears pricked as she spotted a squirrel rustling in some leaves. She flicked her tail towards it and looked at Shadowstar for direction, unsure of whether he was going to catch it, they were going to double team to catch it, he was going to catch it, or te apprentice was going to catch it.

Iristail

Iristail led the way out of camp, but once they were a ways into the forest, she paused, so that she scent the air for prey. The wind was coming from the east, which meant that they should probably head that way for their hunt, so that they could be downwind of their prey.

Somewhere close by in that direction, she smelt a mouse. It wasn't too far, and the air had a piney smell to it as well, so if they were lucky, there wouldn't be any crunchy leaves to step on. She went a few foxlengths further, and spotted the tiny creature picking at a pinecone under a pine tree. She slowly and carefully crept towards it, not making a sound. At just the right moment she pounced. Her feet left the ground, making only a small noise, and as she landed the mouse was under her claws. With a quick bite to it's neck she had caught the first prey of the day. She smiled, and dug a small hole, placing the mouse inside and covering it up so that they could retrieve it later. She began scenting the air once again.

Nightpaw
Nightpaw nodded, following after Dawnbreeze as they walked on through the forest. She hopped over a small log in thier path and kept pace quite well with her mentor. "Okay! I don't know about foxes or badgers, I heard they were huge!" she said, whiskers twiching. "But if I see any rogues, I'll make sure to take them down," she added with a smile, which faded quickly a she remembered the rogues that killed her parents. She shook the thought from her head and changed the subject. "So, where is the training hollow? Is it as big as camp?" she asked.

Eagletalon
The tabby cat turned to Quailheart, stopping for a moment. "Who cares what rogues do? I only care that they stay off of our territory," he said. He continued walking, rubbing up against a large tree that was right on the border. He walked right along the scent line, marking new scents around as he continued along the border, into deeper territory. He took a few steps away from the border and looked around to make sure they were alone. No sign of Fred, at least, not yet, and he didn't smell anything like a fox, either. He glanced back at the other two. "Let's move on," he said.

Dawnbreeze

Dawnbreeze gave a small amused purr. "This way, let's go." She said, starting towards the field where they would be training today. It was large and wide open, and ground squirrels were all over the place, despite the fact that clan cats were frequently in the area. Hopefully she would succeed in teaching her apprentice how to catch them today, but that wasn't very likely. It had taken her nearly a quartermoon to learn the skill, and easily a half moon more to get it up to a workable standard. But Nightpaw seemed a bit more eager than she had been, so hopefully she would learn faster.

Quailheart

"I suppose you're right. As long as they aren't on our territory, they shouldn't bother us." He said, marking a few bushes that were not yet marked. He didn't smell any danger, and to anyone else, it would seem that he was just happy to be out here, which he was, but he was sad that others didn't seem to share his curiousity for rouges. He glanced behind him, and saw Mistfall marking several places as well.
