On Our Own, Together <3 (Accepting!)

He looked to her, sensing the unease she felt. Flashing a warm smile to calm her, he murmured, "Hey, it'll be fun. I promise."

Kaitlyn nerviously looked around, before nodding up to him. "Okay.."

He held her gaze for a moment longer, then began to walk toward the lights of the carnival, explaining as he went. "It's nothing big, just a local thing. Food, rides, games, and the occasional surprize. I've seen years when you'd have to wait an hour in line just to get in, and years when there was almost nobody."

"Lets Hoep Not Alot of People are going." She said said, as they were getting close.

"I haven't heard many people talking about going, so we shoud be okay in that aspect." As they drew near, he grinned, hearing the noise of the families already inside and the rides. it didn't look like there were a ton of people there, but it was enough to feel like this year would be exciting.

(AUUGHHHH RP WHYYYY. ;A; This just made me remember the sweetest bit of writing I've ever come up with. It was used in a story my friend was writing (I was giving her ideas here and there), which ended up being so dang sad! My feels... They're officially broken.)

Kaitlyn nodded and smiled at the sound of the families, but it made her feel bad slightly that she didnt bring her cousin to something like this.

(Ever heard of a trust booth?)

He led her to admission. He put on his best 'I'm-not-some-punk-teenager-here-to-mess-stuff-up" face on, and said, "two adults, please and thank you." He handed the poor woman stuck with this of all jobs a five dollar bill, paying both of their $2.50 admission prices. When asked to, he lifted his hand to the woman, who put one of those impossible to figure out papery bracelets on. it was neon pink tonight. "Lovely..." he muttered under his breath.

Kaitlyn had gotten her money out at the admission, but as he handed over the money she slid it back into ehr pocket, porbally because she paid the day before. She raised her hand and let the bracelet being sliped on, mummbling a thanks to the lady. She looked at Him and smiled, "It looks good, it makes your hair pop." She said in one of those 'Im the fashion police' accent type things.

[No but Ill look one up.]

(It's basically a place built for that "No, really. Fall. I'll catch you," type thing. Blindfolds, a little platform to fall from, stuff like that.)

Laron mimicked the tone of her voice, chuckling, "Well aren't you in the know! A thousand thanks for the advice, darling!"

"No worries Darlin." She said smiling as they began their way into the carnival. Sh elooked around in Aww never had seen somethign like that.
