I do really want one of these, but I dont own an account on deviantart, so there is no way I'd be able to snag one here. My only hope is that I'll be able to get a baby from a breeding in September if I can find someone who wouldn't mind giving up a baby. At least I have the money to buy one if I ever get the chance. :3

Mostly, having a Deviantart or Furaffinity account helps you have a place where you can be contacted by other handlers when it comes to your Wyrms. If you aren't interested in the contests, or games, etc and you don't want to register your Wyrm to be breedable, then it's not really necessary. I could /probably/ also register you under some other kind of contact location, but I know that HMS seems to want to stick with these two.

As for if you need one to be part of the breeding season... not at all.
There's plenty of people here who would be glad to set up a breeding for you. You'd just have to make sure you handle the payment/communication to get your baby Wyrm. You're welcome to get a baby from most of my Wyrms (I only have one which I want to save his last breeding on), the rest are pretty much free.

So, I guess what I'm saying is, don't give up hope. You don't need a DA unless you want to breed your baby. But you will want to keep up with it if you can just so you know when the breeding season is. I'll try to remember to post here, too, when the next one rolls around, and you can always have me put in your breeding request for you on either DA or FA.

It's looking good for me being able to go to the FA convention in August..
I can't wait. I swear I had a Wyrm dream last night.. xD I'm hoping to get a Standard and one or two Teacups.. <3
