Veiled by a Song: PM to Join (Fox RP)

[Lady Saga]

She watched from the edge of the group, her face a mask of impassiveness even with Soul’s rousing speech. Saidra knew there was danger. She knew the threat and it made her restless, scared, but she did not want to show it to the others. It was a weakness. It was something to be overcome. She watched Soul disappear into the trees, her ears pricked forward to hear his foot falls.

Time to work. Her eyes scanned the group until she found Phantom, her mentor. She moved towards him quickly, brushing passed a few of the others. “Should he go alone with the threat? I do not question his strength but…what if we lost him?” Her eyes darkened slightly at the very thought, glancing back to where Soul had gone.

Raven sat in deep thought even after Soul had gone. It would be a challenge to train her apprentice, Flare, with a warrior around, but she'd do whatever she had to do if it meant protecting the forest.

Copper stood up immediatly after the speech, his three tails completely straight and unrevealing of any emotion. He looked around for the bright, yellow fur of his mentor, Ryuu. Copper knew he was lucky to have such a skilled warrior mentoring him, and he wanted to waste no time training. He hoped that a hunter and their apprentice wouldn't be dragged along with them to train, what an annoyance that would be!

"May Kinari light your way, young Soul..." Shiko murmured to herself. Her dreams had been haunted by the demons of Zargon's world. Shiko raised her voice so all of the remaining foxes could hear. "Remember everyone, demons leak into dreams! You can be hurt in your dreams now, sleep with caution!" The demonic scratch on her left shoulder still stung, even though she had treated it. Shiko walked into her den and began to count through her remaining herbs, they were low on one of the most important ones, moss.

Yuri shuddered a little at the thought of demons. He was only a hunter apprentice. Yuri looked around for his mentor, in order for the leash to be able to help Kinari, they would have to be well-fed.

Ryuu turned to Copper, "We're going out with Shiko later." That was all he said, then went over to guard the camp entrance. Ryuu didn't feel like dealing with Copper yet, he wanted to think. He'd volunteered to gather herbs with Shiko.

Copper was silently fuming at going out to gather stupid herbs for the alchemist. She should be able to do her own job! Following his mentor's role, Copper went to sit by another of the camp entrances, and thought about the best ways to fight. He would need all of his skills to keep the demons from harming him in his dreams.

"I do not know, sadly." Phantom answered flatly. It was a dumb answer, of course. He thought about what Soul said and what would happen next..
Rising Hope stood in the group, surprised at the news. Find the gemstones..forest being killed..demons harming our dreams.. It was too much for her to think of.

Creo watched from a very far distance careful not to make himself known. He knew who Zargon was and he narrowed his pure white eyes at the mention of the name. He dispised this whole idea. Why not let everyone die?? He and Flare would escape the forest and live a happy life. Maybe he should talk to Flare. Watching Soul disapear into the forest he suddendley had the urge to kill him,but he knew he couldn't....

Flare watched with wide eyes as he had never heard of Zargon or Kiara. Quietly turning his head he looked at Creo as he narrowed his eyes at the name Zargon. What was his brother thinking now?? Flare slowly walked over to Raven and asked "Will we all be okay?"

Yuri quietly looked around for his mentor, Twilightspirit, he wanted to begin training right away.

"Hope." Shiko called her apprentice to her, she wanted to see if Hope knew why moss was so important to the foxes. Of course, Hope was a new apprentice, so she wasn't expecting much.

[Calypso Sky]

"I can't answer that question Flare," Raven half-smiled, "We can only hope for the best. We're in good hands, as you saw, Soul knows what he's doing. It's our duty now to hunt as much as we can, we need to feed the leash. We're all dependent on each other for survival, and as a whole, we need to learn how to coexist." Raven was shocked at how much she had rambled, she never spoke this much! Rising to her feet, she padded around the clearing, trying to find a warrior who would accompany them into the forest.

Rising Hope turned at the sound of Shiko. "Yes, Shiko?" She asked, thumping her tail. She walked over.
Phantom lifted his head, and watched a beautiful raven fly overhead. It was just only one of Kinari's makings. He wondered what would happen if the gemstones where not found.

Phantom’s words rang in her head. No one knew what would happen and that scared her more than Zargon did, more than the whispers she heard at night. She turned to look away from the woods, eyes resting on Copper. He was almost everything she was not even if he appeared as serious as she. He just was more...likable? Fun? She shook her head to clear her thoughts, her single tail swishing in agitation.

“I do not like not knowing.” She sounded like a petulant child and mentally cringed quickly moving to change the topic. “Are we going to hunt soon?”
