Aubrey shot up with a gasp and stared wide-eyed at the cheetah hybrid in front of her. She pondered for a second, searching for a sarcastic response but couldn't cone up eith a clever enough one. "Yes..." she said simply and sat up

Mark smiled, "M'name's Mark, would it be a trouble for me to ask who you are?"
He offered a hand to help the tiger hybrid up.

Aubrey took his hand and she looked into his eyes. "Aubrey" she said and pulled herself up. She awkwardly took her hand away from his and put it on the inside of her elbow. She looked at the moon and swished her tail back and forth, the silence getting awkward

Mark let out a short breath, "So, how are you enjoying this place so far?"
He inwardly rolled his eyes, this conversation would get awkward and fast.

Aubrey sighed and lifted an eyebrow at him. "fine...I guess" she answered looking at her paws. There was the silence again. More deafening then anything and just as awkward
