"Hey!" Flamewhisker began to call out. He quickly stopped himself though. The headstrong cat wouldn't stop at the sound of a voice. Not wanting to go get Brambletail or Darkstar and admit that he had let the cat go, Flamewhisker quickly made up a story in his head. Smiling to himself, he ran over to Darkstar's den. "Darkstar!" he cried. "The prisoner is gone!"

[Shezza.]

Darkstar ran out "What?!" she hissed, harshly.

[SingTheRain]

"I was going to get him some prey! I only looked away for a second, I swear," cried Flamewhisker. Everything about him showed that he was frantic with worry. Flamewhisker knew he had to buy time for Rogue.

[Shezza.]

"Go get Brambletail. Now!" Darkstar yowled. Her tail flickered.

Rouge knew his plan well...he would leave for tonight, come back tomorrow...beg for forgiveness...then after Darkstar forgives him...let the rouge clan attack

Flamewhisker nodded, a quick flash of anger in his eyes. Of course, Brambletail. "Brambletail!" he yowled obnoxiously into the deputy's den. "Hurry! We have to find Rouge!"

Brambletail woke up in an instant. He practically ran over to Darkstar. "What do you want me to do?" he asked.

[Shezza.]

Darkstar narrowed her eyes, obviously stressed. She was glad she had such a great deputy. "Anything we can!" she said...almost desperately

Brambletail nodded, understanding Darkstar's fear. "Alright," he said quietly. Then, raising his voice, he added, "I need a patrol. Flamewhisker and I will go first. Dawnwish, you come, but stay behind us. Same with you, Eaglepaw," he looked at the small group of cats that made up the clan. "Thunderstorm and Rainsong, you two stay here with Darkstar. We'll send a runner if we need any help." With that, he ran out of the tunnel, the other three cats streaking out behind him.

[Shezza.]

Thunderstorm gulped. "Rainsong...I had a weird dream," he said hesitantly

Darkstar sat down nervously. Her tail flickered slightly.
