Well, she is an alicorn who lived long along her brethren and alongside Celestia in the earlier stages of Equestria.

Though after the incident with Nightmare moon, she and her other elemental guardians hid themselves away in their homes.
However, years passed without any form of communication with them and Celestia grew worried.

She went to investigate, and all she could find was the lightning guardians Tiara, She collected it and grieved for her friends.

However she was confronted by some horrid equine like beast, she smelled foul and looked as if she where a sickness, however this beast was in more of a shadow like state, and fled.

The bodies of the elemental Guardians where never found, and celestia returned to her palace with the Princesses Tiara, and kept it in her trophy room, which was heavily guarded. She dubbed the Tribal Elemental Guardians as deceased and forbid any excessive speak of them.

it has been 95 years since the mysterious disapperance of the Guardians, and their exsistance seemed to fade away with the beleif of nightmare moon.

The safety of the princesses Tiara brought about strange phenomena as a strange mare began to roam equestria.

Yes, whenever she feels instant negative emotion, sparks of lightning will race across her mane and tail.
