Chelsea signed back Thank you. i'll come ask if i need anything. With that, she turned and began walking towards the barn again, and began unpacking Codie's stuff. She sat his saddle and bridle in the floor for now as she took out his groom kit. She picked up the saddle and bridle and sat it back in the tack box. She took the grooming kit and placed it on top of the tack chest, and went to get Codie's feed out of the trailer. She did not notice Lacy standing there, because she couldn't hear her,, so she just walked past and unloaded Codie's feed. She lugged the bag to the barn and put it in the feed room, taking a permanent marker, and writing codie's show name and barn name on the lid of the can. She put his vitamins and supplements in his cubby, and turned walking back out of the feed room, properly diposing of the bag that held the feed before she had put it in a feed bin. After that, Chelsea grabbed Codie's tack and took it and put it on a tack rack, next to Codie's stall, beings that she'd use it later. She finally got to Codie's grooming time. She picked the grooming kit up off the tack chest and opened Codie's stall door and slipped in. She was immediately met by Codie's nose, who was sniffing her to see what she had been doing. She rubbed the stallion and backed him up a bit to give her some room to put his halter on. She slipped the halter over his nose and clipped the halter on under the chin. Chelsea lead the palomino steed out of the stall and into the aisle.
Once out of the stall, Chelsea tied him to the hitching bar, and began to groom him. She took a curry comb and began brushing in circular motions to loosen all the dirt that might be there, but there was very little dirt, because chelsea kept Codie in tip-top shape at all times. Once she was done curry combing the stallion, she picked up a soft body brush, and began brushing what little dirt she loosened and found off the stallions barrel. After that, she took out a humn paddle brush, that she used to brush out his mane and tail. She began to brush it out in long, even storkes to make sure she didn't pull to hard and the tangles fell out cleanly. She then moved onto his tail, doing the same process over again. She praised Codie verbally "Good boy.", and patted him on his round for being good while she combed through his tail. She brushed her hair out of her face and pulled it up into a ponytail, to keep it out of her face. She sighed and rummaged through her grooming kit and found Codie's Hoof pick. She ran her hand down Codie's leg and asked him to lift his foot, which he did, and she began to pick his hooves. It didn't take her long to finnish that task. She smiled as she cleaned up her grooming kit and sighed as she put it all back in her tack chest. She still had time to kill, so she began to rub Codie's neck, which she did often to re-enforce the bond between them. She quickly glanced out to see her mom and caroline had finnished talking and her mom had already taken her stuff to her cabin to unpack later that night. She watched as Her mom departed and set off for home, leaving her here to hopefully find some new friends and learn some more stuff to help her compete more.
