I'm glad I could help you than. I went through a similar experience a few years ago, when I was struggling with my own beliefs, and when I heard that quote (Slightly different because I did it by memory) it just really inspired me to delve deep into my lagging faith, and it really helped me get through my uncertainty. I just hope it does the same for you. =)

I want to join cause I love leaning about other religions. I think it's a good idea to know as much as you can about different religions so you dont affend anyone. And I want to clear up any misconceptions anyone has about my religion.
And yes I do want to keep up with the discussion. I can't think of anything you might want to know about my "activities". So can I join?

Sorry to be little late to answer your question, but it's a yin a d yang thing. Without evil, there can be no good. Think of it this way. If you spend your whole life in a huge house doing nothing but eating Bon bons all day, and never know any pain, then your life seems dull boring and not as great as it would be if you knew what its like to suffer. Without evil, you can know no good. There is oppision in all things. There has to be a negative to a positive. Science shows this. Magnets attract to the opposite pole and repel the same. Positives need negatives. And via versa. The Chinese had it figured out centuries ago. So there has to be evil to have good.

I really enjoyed having nice debates here. I hope this thread comes back to life again!
My teacher asked me once, he said, "why does Jesus need to be baptized if He didn't inherit the original sin?"
Then I was like, mindblown xD
Who knows the answer to this?
Jesus is our example right? He shows us to love one another and bless our enemies. Jesus did not commit sin and did not NEED to get baptized. But He needed to show us that we should also get baptized. He was setting the example.
Does that make since?
