Eclipse looked over at Kalia and replied, "I could stay with you if you want. I'm not a very good hunter." She sat down as her tail curled around her paws.

Nakalla inspected Kalia's wound. "I'm afraid so." She looked at the others. "Sammael will have to, also." Then she looked at Eclipse. "Are you sure? We need all the help we can get around here. When she heard what Jay said, she smiled. "You were never even a hunter, anyways. I've never even seen you catch a single hare."

J A Y

Jay looked from Nakalla to Kalia. "I could stay with you." He said pointedly to Kalia. He smiled gently.

(I just realized, I spelled scramble wrong. And of course, Jay has to be the troll.)

Kalia breathed out, relieved. She trusted Eclipse for the most part. Smiling, she replied. "Sure. That is, if you don't mind. You look like a hunter to me. You sure you don't mind missing out?"

She turned her head to Jay. He looked so innocent, like he wouldn't hurt a thing. Too innocent for her. In a solid, emotionless voice, she said simply, "No, that's quite alright. I'm sure.... you should be able to kill something." She almost choked on her words near the end, and then realized that she has accidentally made him sound cruel by replacing "catch" with "kill."

Eclipse shook her head to both the faes. "I'm not a good hunter, trust me, It would be better if I stay here with Kalia and keep watch." She stated. She walked over to Jay and said, "Just go. I'm sure you're a good hunter." She nodded her head.

Jay looked down. "Oh. If any of you don't want me here, then that's fine. I'll just go..." He backed away submissively, then ran away towards nothing in the swirling mass of white.

Nakalla smiled at Eclipse, then saw Jay leave. "Oh, no..." she said worriedly.Then she turned to the two faes. "He'll get over it. His feelings get hurt quite easily. And Kalia, I can tell you're suspicious about him. Trust me, I've known him since he was born. I want to kill you more than he wants to. She laughed, then her face went serious. "Not... that I'd kill you, or anything."

The black fae tilted her head as she turned to Nakalla. "I can go after him if you want." Eclipse figured that maybe she should get to know this new wolf. She understood what it felt like to be a newcomer. She awaited a response from Nakalla as the harsh freezing winds whipped against her fur.

Argh. I don't deserve to live, do I? My once kind self has turned into a jerk, a jerk who doesn't trust a single soul. Why don't I just kill myself? Kalia thought, snarling silently at herself. "You can if you want, Nakalla. I have no place here. All I do is screw everything up for everyone. Or are you still trying to keep me safe because you think you can tolerate me?" She stood up, daring Nakalla to challenge her. Tail up, and fur fluffed, she knew that she really was asking for it now. But what did it matter? Nobody wanted her here to begin with. In fact, the moment she and Nakalla met they had faught. Perhaps it was finally time for Kalia to be put in her place.

(*insert evil music here* Kalia has offically gone insane. x3)

Nakalla frowned at Eclipse. "No need, he'll come around. But if you really want to, go right ahead." Then she turned to Kalia. "You don't mess anything up. You're as important as any of us. Don't you think that you'd be left out in the snow after the bear attack if we didn't like you? Or we wouldn't have even met at all?" She said gently. "I want to keep you safe because you're a wolf just like me, or Sammael, or Concierto. I don't want any wolf out here to die. I've had enough family, friends, and relatives die in my life. I certainly don't want another to pass."

Eclipse looked towards the pawsteps created by Jay when he ran off. Eclipse overheard the conversation between the two faes. I'll let them talk it out, Eclipse thought. She then followed Jay's paw prints and hoped she could find him in this harsh weather.
