Kaitlyn dropped ehr shoulders. "A door got slammed on it last ngiht." She said lightly, dropping her gaze down to the floor.

[rothbart.]

He simply nodded, somewhat wishing to hear the whole story but not wanting to push her for it. Finally taking notice to the fact that both eyes were visible, he flicked his bangs into place, letting only the sapphire of his right eye show.

"When I got home my parents started yeling I went up to my room and started pritning the photos and they came in, as the fightprgressed I shaved them out of the room and one of them slam closed the door on my hand." She said, before noticing his hair flick. She didnt undertsand why he didnt like it to show, 'cus she thought it was brilliant, but didnt press the matter.

He winced at the thought of a door being slammed on somebody's hand. He had it happen to him once; it wasn't a great feeling. "You sure it's okay?" he asked. He smiled, though it didn't reach his eyes. He was glad nothing worse had happened, though her saying that worse has happened made him worry.

"I can move it. I can curl it into a fist, most importantly i can take photos with it." She said with a shrug, but looked up at him, eyes glintning.

"Better than I thought it'd be." He had nearly sliced up his own hands last night picking up ceramic shards, but managed to clean everything up and stay intact.

Kaitlyn nodded, putting her hands back in her pockets. "Thanks for actually caring, most people wouldnt care.." She said with a slight shrug.

[rothbart.]

"It'd be wrong not to care." He looked to the ground, nudging a small rock around with the toe of his shoe. Again, he had nothing else to say.

Kaitlyn looked around. "So...you doing anything today?" She asked nerviously, figuring he did.

[rothbart.]

"Nah. Parents are out, chores are nonexistent, I'm free." He shrugged, suddenly aware of how boring his life seemed.
