Lighters shrieked. "No!" she jumped onto his lap, sitting on him. She put her twenty into the checkbook, pulling out his and putting it onto the seat. She crushed him against the back of the booth. She brought her knees up to her chest, making sure he didn't move. Doing this, not realizing, her denim shorts slightly slid up, and her slightly transparent black stockings showed mor eon her upper thigh. The waitress walked over, look of alarm on her face when she saw the two teens. She carefully took the checkbook, and lighters fist pumped the air. "Ha!"

"Excuse me miss!" he hollered after the waitress. "The twenty on the seat is yours. there was a slight..... misunderstanding!" he smiled sweetly as he struggled against Lighters.

Lighters cupped his mouth. The waitress walked back over, but Lighters flailed her other arm. "No! Everything is fine!" the woman jumped in surprised, walking away in fear. She tok the checkbook to the register."Damn it, Rowan," Lighters giggled, turning to face him as she sat on his lap, her legs on either side of him. "If you're going to make me not help you with the bills for your mom," she said, "then I get to pay for the other things, because we need her to get better. Got it?" she edged,

"No!" he blubbered. "Don't got it! you scared that poor woman half to death!" he laughed and pushed her aside. standing, he straightened his ruffled shirt and held out his hand to Lighters. "We're leaving the twenty as a tip. she's had to deal with a lot from us." he smiled.

Lighters smiled. "Fine," she said, getting up. She took his hand, lacing their fingers together as she laughed. "Like you didn't either!" she scoffed playfully. She led him to the door, her eyebrows raising. "Rain?" she questioned. It was raining? She stepped out, looking up at the sky. She pulled her hand away from his, laughing a bit as she threw up her arms, twirling around. "Raaain!"

rowan shoved his hands in his pockets an scrunched up his shoulders. "Yeah." he grumbled. "Rain." he shook the droplets from his glasses in irritation but couldn't help but smile as he watched Lighters. "Having fun?" he called out to her.

Lighters laughed, nodding slightly before she grinned at him. "Aww, come on, party-pooper!" she giggle, taking his hand and hauling him over with her. "it's fun!"

Rowan stumbled after her grumpily. he muttered inaudible things under his breath and stood ,rigid, in the middle of the sidewalk.

Lighters shook her head, laughing. "No, seriously, trust me. Watch," she stood in front of him, taking both of his hands in either of hers. "Throw up your arms, " she instructed, pulling his arms up with hers,"throw your head back," she said, "and close your eyes," she added in a softer tone.

Rowan rolled his eyes. "I'd rather not do that." he muttered and tried to pull away gently. "Rain makes me grumpy!" he pouted.
