I put my horse in the stable and walk into the city, heading to the market place to sell my stuff.

The gut lets go of my arm and falls to the ground clutching his stomach. I smirk but that fades when one of the Whiterun guards sees what I did and comes over to me.

I see a guard walking over to the Bannered Mare and I look over. I see Shay standing next to a man on the ground. I start to walk over.

Shay

I narrow my eyes and the guard comes over to me. I cannot be dealing with this.

Guard

"You have commited crimes against Skyrim and her people what do you say in your defence?" I hold my hand above my sword in case the Nord decides to try and attack me or run away.

I look at Shay, disappointed. I stand behind the guard to see what Shay would do.

Shay

I sigh when I see Saphira stand behind the guard. "I hardly did it without reason." I point to the man on the ground. "He followed me out here and grabbed onto my arm for no reason. I acted on instinct, he shouldn't have grabbed me."

Guard

I move my hand away from my sword when I'm sure the girl won't try anything. "Be that as it may you've still committed a crime."

I lean back on the sigh and notice a little symbol carved into the wood beside the door.

(I've never noticed that there before.)

Shay

"Fine I take it you want me to pay off a fine for this." I run a hand through my hair. The guard tells me how much I have to pay and I get out the coins and hand them to him.

(yeah. It's a shadowmark. the things thieves put places to tell people things. that is the one for loot. if you are in the thieves guild, there is a book on them in the cistern)

IO sigh and walk away to finish selling my things.

(I must've missed that book. Next time I head down to get a theives guild quest i'll hafta find it)

I watch the guard walk away and look down at the ground. I walk down the steps away from the Bannered Mare.
