Rat got out of cage. Looked everywhere. Won't come out. Maybe stuck in a hole in the wall. Leads straight down. Impossible to get at. Maybe climbed under the door of the room the cage is in. We have 4 cats.

find all four cats and put them somewhere for a while if you can untill you find your rat. in the room he escaped put some of his food in the middle of the room, and try and get him to come out, maybe put his cage on the floor and make it so he can get back in, and use some food he likes to lure him in good luck, and dont worry, my hamster escaped and jumped from a height of about 1 meter, (off a washing machine) onto the floor where my jack russel was, and my dog just ignored hugo and he ran under my rollerskates only found him later in the day!

Mah hamster (Hammy) went missing a looong time ago. We have loadsa cats in our street. We put food out for days, and everything. But he didnt come back we think hes under the floorboards somewhere..

-Hugs- Aw, just don't give up, Hano, I'm sure you'll find her soon. Did you round up the cats or anything in case they might have been tempted if they saw her? Did you check every perimeter of the house and yell out her name and set food out? If you think she got in the wall, try cutting a slightly smaller chunk of wall so you can at least reach your hand in in case she made a nest or something in it. I hope you find her soon, just don't give up.
