Red still kept sleeping and he showed on signs of waking up.

Buck purred in amusement and put a paw on her shoulder. He licked her forehead and whispered into her ear,"I like you too Star."

Star sat in shock for a moment, before she inched closer to him, snuggling against him, the soft pink blush still settling across her face. "Thank you." She whispered, nuzzling him warmly, although water still streamed down her face. Her white fur shimmered like stardust, just fallen from the sky, and her eyes were blissful and sweet, a small smile on her face.

"What is there to thank me for," chuckled Buck. A small came across his face as Star snuggled with him and he blushed slightly. He groomed her head gently and nuzzled her.

Star laughed softly, as he groomed the ticklish spot right behind her ear. "I can thank you for your eyes," She purred, flicking her tail closer to his. "And for your kindness," She slowly started to twine her tail with his. "And for your feelings." She fully twined her tail with his, resting her head on his shoulder softly, her eyes twinkling softly.

Elixir woke with a start at the yelling and walked to the edge of the loft, peering over at the two cats. Her white tail waved to balance as she was perched on the very edge.
