We've got a new feral mama and her kitten.

A guy we know really well showed up with mama yesterday, and today he managed to catch one of her kittens (she apparently has two), and now he's trying for the last one. He found them where he works, at a car workshop where they have lots of feral cats running around. He's always trying to catch some of the more tame ones, especially those with kittens.

Mama is really not too fond of people, and the baby isn't much better. But the little guy did let me hold him for a few minutes. I'm about to go back downstairs and sit with them for a while, see if I can't get them to trust me a bit ;3

Edit: check that...the guy just brought kitten #2. Apparently there is one more ^^

Three weeks ago, I posted that a stray cat had kittens at our house. Momma cat decided to move her kittens elsewhere. Momma kept visiting us over the weeks, and I was beginning to think the poor kittens had died. Today the neighbor just dropped off the kittens at our house! I'm really happy they're okay! There's five of them, one black and white, two calicos, and two orange ones. One of the calicos I have fallen in love with! I don't know their genders too well, but the black and white one is a tom. It's hard not to touch them, but as I've learned in the past I shouldn't touch them, as they are a bit too stray and I could make them sick. Till then, I'll just watch them grow. If they do make it to 5 weeks, then I'll play with them. We'll probably end up giving them away, but maybe we'll keep one. I want the calico, but mom wants an orange! -sigh- Well, we have time to decide..

do you have a cat? i know that shelters like if you dont have a cat that you adopt 2 (i know one where you get a 2ed cat free with one if you want) as cats love being around others even if they dont like the other cat its still good for them

We already have three cats. I've never adopted a pet from the shelter, but I really, really want to. These cats really do like being around others, today the black and white and one of the calicos came charging straight at me! The calico even climbed into my lap!! I'm thinking about naming the two, any suggestions? (They already come to kitty, yikes..)

I've nearly had my cat, Missy, for two years. Anyone who see her tells me she is the most spoilt cat they've ever seen xD

I had fun with the kittens this morning I played with them, and discovered their genders. Calicos: Girls. Oranges: Males. Black and white: Male. I also discovered their personalites! The black and white one loves me! The larger calico loves being adventorous. The other calico enjoys chasing her brother, black and white. The oranges are shy and like to snooze all day. A really bad storm is going on now, so I had to scoop up momma and the babies and stick them on a warm blanket and put them in the garage, so they don't get a cold. The rain's coming down super hard now.. I really need to think of names!

I love all of them, and I might actually use them! In fact, I think I've decided that Rusty is just perfect for the dark orange one! Today the kits learned some new things. They've started to play-fight, so cute c: And the light orange one was cleaning his little paws! Plus one of the calicos was trying to drink some water!

Haha, for two months I thought the mom of the kits was a he! And it obviously turned out he was a she.

Oh, awkward...I had a cat I thought was a girl and we found out it was a boy, but my mom wanted to keep the name, "Tootsie" like a Tootsie roll...

My cat is part Abyssinian, even though she's a black tortoiseshell. We can tell because she's lean, and has long legs and body. By coincidence, (since Callie has a very unique patten) there is a Chicken Smoothie pet just like her. (See my signature)
