Angel turned on Thornslash. "But she didn't mean to you mouse-brain! Do you think that if she didn't mean to that she would of asked you to come back?!"

[walk.]

Thornslash sighed and mewed, "Shadeflame, you choose whether she comes back or not but I personally don't want her to." Pondweed nodded and mewed, "I have been an apprentice for 10 moons, I want to be the medicine cat at last. But I do wish Rosepetal was here to guide me but she can do that from star clan."

[wolf ;;]

Shadeflame flickered her tail, and she looked at Pondweed. "Even if she does come back, she will not continue as medicine cat. She will become a warrior, she has wanted to do so for many moons, since she had you, Angel and Bird."

[walk.]

Pondweed nodded and mewed, "Then I want her back. It would be nice for her to be accepted as an equal and to maybe have another litter of kits, if Thornslash agrees!" Thornslash chuckled and mewed, "Then of course I want her back! All I want is to be a father to young kits again!"

Shadeflame smiled and dipped her head. "Good." She purred and Angel smiled, then Angel looked at the elder. "I'm sorry that I couldn't save you at the fight with the dark forest." She meowed, Shadeflame touched her muzzle to her head. "It was my time." Shadeflame meowed. "And I was glad that I died like a warrior instead of growing old." She added, and she looked at the three cats. "I have one last message before I leave, its for Emberheart." She meowed.

Thornslash mewed, "I'll go and get him for you Shadeflame, he is deputy now, you should be very proud..." he ran outside and the bright ginger warrior came striding over. He entered the den and mewed seriously, "Hello Shadeflame. Thornslash said you wished to talk to me about something in particular."

Shadeflame twitched her tail. "Don't worry, its nothing serious." She meowed, and she touched her nose to his ear. "I'm proud of you Emberheart." She meowed. "You will be a good deputy to the Clan, and a great leader when it is time. Your father would be proud, too." She purred, then she faded. Bird blinked his eyes and faded with Shadeflame.

Emberheart nodded his gratitude and mewed, "I will always try my best Shadeflame and try to do what is best for my clan. How long does Greystar have left, because I really do want some experience at being deputy before I become the leader, which hopefully will be in many, many moons time." his tail flickered and his pelt glowed like Ember's in the dim lit den.

"He has seven lives." Shadeflame's voice meowed as the last of her faded. Greystar padded out of his den and his tail lashed. "I need a patrol to come with me to SnowClan!" He called.

Emberheart nodded and padded over and mewed, "But why Greystar? Surely we are not attacking snow clan again? And I think we need a whole moon of good, tough training of our apprentices, they have had to wait two moons so they deserve to finally get started on their training." his tail lashed, even if he wasn't leader, he would challenge Greystar to do what is best for the clan,
