Because of more Thor awesomeness and the Loki fans will like more Loki awesomeness aswell, so it's a win-win
I'm watching Thor now, and I haven't realized the first time: the Bifrost opens the gates to other realms, but in the end of the movie, Loki uses it to destroy the Frost giants' planet. Does the Bifrost have 2 functions?

They explained that during the movie.
The Bifrost is pretty powerful,... wormhole.. (unlike you're average stargate... hehee)
If it's aimed at a planet too long, and it's running the bifrost will destroy it.
I'm not sure as to how.
but yeah.

Sweet (if that nope was ment at my question) with a hawk eye/black widow move my bro and the boys in my class say that there won't be any becuse they have no back story, witch I don't think is fair

Heimdall told Thor, Loki, Sif and the Warriors three that the Bifrost has so much Energy that he can't leave him open.
