With a quick nod, Rune got up and headed towards the area where the mystery contestants were. Once he had gotten all caught up, he headed back to the main room, though it took longer than he would have liked.
"Alright, so I have a lot to say. Listen carefully. These answers will be the ones that wrap up this episode of The False Target!"
He read the first card, double checking to see if it was the right one, then continued softly but excitedly. "For starts, the answer from contestant two for your third question, was; 'For question three, my favorite food. Biscottis, They go well with hot coco and I love how some can have drizzled chocolate on it, and they are the best treat for me'."
He stated slowly, clearly, before continuing on to address the answers for question four. "Contestant one said, in reply to question four, 'At the end of the terrible night? I wouldn't treat it as terrible. Me 'significant other' showed up, that's a plus. And I've had one or two drinks spilled on me before. At the end I would.. treat it like any other ending to a date, I suppose'."
Hesitating a bit, he went onto the next one. He was getting anxious as the seconds ticked by, and it drew closer to the time that the show would have to end.
"Contestant two said, in reply to question four, 'First off, I would be more than happy to even have a date with any one who wants to share time with me. If they ran late, I wouldn't mind on how late, or what the reason may be, I do draw my lines at some points. I would upset that I'm wet, but laugh about it later. But only of course I would understand and end up having a great night and forgive of all the events'." shifting slightly, he continued. "And again in reply to question four, contestant three said, 'Being clumsy on a date is certainly not a deal-breaker. You don’t judge people by klutziness, you look at what’s on the inside. I'd try to make the night go well, and assure the them that it's completely ok to have a bad night, and that I will still be open to their company."
The replies were long, and he still had yet to state the replies for question five.
"Finally, contestant four said, for question four, 'Smile and try to make it up to them, saying it isn't their fault, but they really shouldn't do that. If I loved them enough I would keep my cool and try to make the night better, and make sure they know I'm not mad at them'."
He gave Kiwaro a second to think, before going on to sate the answers for question five.
"And in reply to question five, contestant one said, 'Humans are just a bald, less fun version of Jellybean Dragons that walk on two feet. I like them, but I can certainly live without them'."
"Then contestant two said, 'Humans. Some are kind, some are mean. Some are loving, caring and are very intelligent, yet some aren't the brightest and not the loving kind. My opinion, you can never win with Humans, but I would always be giving them a chance'."
So close to being done. So close. He grinned, feeling some sense of relief as he realized they still had a few minutes to spare. No problem.
"Contestant three replied with, 'I can't answer what I think about human, because each one is different, just like us. I have been both disgusted and delighted by what they do. Personally, I have had good experiences with human children, but one very traumatic experience with a particularly cruel adult. As a whole, the species has a lot of depth to it, with beliefs and advantages. Personally, they take a little longer to earn my trust than other dragon'." he paused to take a breath. "And finally, the last answer to the last question, 'I hate humans. They terrify me. They seem to want everything and never have enough, really. Besides, they don't realize how we JBDs mean no harm'."
Even more relieved than before, he sat back, smiling as he awaited the answers. "Well Kiwaro, I hope you were able to keep up with all of that! What do you think? The audience is beginning to look a little anxious.."
