Dustkit looked stricken,a stray tear rolled down his cheek.."Whisperkit..."He mewed in a pleading voice."I'm sorry..."He closed his eyes,a sigh of grief escaped him and he back ed away then turned and fled across the clearing,he lay under some ferns.

Hawkstar perked his ears,which flapped in the strong gusts of wind and snow,he looked over his shoulder."I hear Echokit,stay with Brownkit.I'll be right back."He meowed to Jaysong and then bounded away into the storm,moments later he emerged beside Echokit and Glazekit."There you are!"

Jaysong nodded and tightened herself around Brownkit. She lay her head on top of the little one's, and concentrated on staying warm. "Everything will be alright, darling," she murmured. She wrapped her tail around her body and Brownkit's, the tip of it settled in front of her nose.

Starpaw awoke from her nap to chilling cold. It nipped at her nose, and all she could smell was icyness. For a moment, she forgot what had just happened. Then she jumped to her feet. She craned her head outside, then with a hiss retreated as she felt icy snowflakes touch her harshly. She fluffed her fur up against the cold. Where's mom? she thought.

Moonpaw felt the icy wind bite through her pelt easily, and her ears flattened. She never did like the cold, and she especially hated blizzards. Even now, she could sense one coming. She ducked into the apprentice' den, only to bonk into her sister, Starpaw. Moonpaw felt disgust as she stared at her younger sister. She remembered Starpaw's wailings about how it had been an 'accident' when she hit Lightningpaws, but found that hard to believe. Starpaw was small, and not very powerful. To have hit Lightningpaws that hard, she would have had her reasons.
"You," she hissed, and her tail lashed.
"Me," Starpaw said, and looked up at Moonpaw. Starpaw, being the runt of the litter, was the smallest, and still looked as pathetic as she had when she was born. Feeling strangely uncomfortable in front of her sister, she asked, "Have you seen mom?"
Moonpaw hissed. "No. She left with Hawkstar and Thundersoul. Starclan knows if they'll make it back."
Starpaw instinctively shrunk. "Do you think they'll survive?"
Moonpaw answered without thinking. "Of course. Mom's tough, and so is Thundersoul and Hawkstar." As soon as the words left her mouth, she doubted them. What if they weren't tough?

Ignis glares at Snyde for a moment, then softens her gaze. "Fine then," she says. "Should we move on?"

Jaysong licks Brownkit's head. "Because I love you like you were my own daughter, and I would never leave you." She is quiet for a moment. "Hawkstar has said you can come back. I'm going to be your mentor; I'll teach you to be gentle. Would that be alright with you?"

Slain purred and lied down, panting. "You win," he smiled sleepily. "I can show you the territory... after a nap," the tom purred with a yawn, not minding that she was still on his back. He closed his eyes and murmured, "It's so radical to have you back... for good, I hope." He purred again.

Fallenstar jumped, then purred noticing it was his mate. He nuzzled her. "Oh... I'm okay, Blackember. What is it, my love?"

Glazekit's ears gently twitched.

Snyde hissed sternly at the two arguing she-cats,"Enough!Blaez you must try harder next time."He turned his stone stare on his apprentice.

River got up and started to drag herself through owlclan territory before she stumbled into owlclan camp. She looked around at all the cats and then collapsed on the ground panting tiredly.
