[Falls]

Tessa took the lack of a negatory response as a general "yes, go wake 'im up" from the two of them. She nodded, the waves of hair on her head bobbing slightly as she did so. "Alright. I'll go get him." She limped across the kitchen and to the door. "If I'm not back in ten minutes, the grump-monster ate me and you should start planning my funeral," she joked as she left. She hobbled down the hall, her crutch clicking quietly as she went. She stopped at Lucien's door and knocked softly before opening the door and poking her head in.

Lucien was sprawled out horizontally in his bed, the sheets a mess around him. He was only wearing shorts, and nothing else. His long, brown hair was loose, splayed behind his head as he slept lightly, gripping at a pillow with one hand.

Tessa's gaze took in Lucien's sleeping form for a moment before she stepped inside the room, carefully closing the door behind her. She knew she should probably just speak up and wake him up from where she stood, but she couldn't help herself. She limped further into the room, right up to his bed. Her eyes roamed over him, sliding guiltily over his bare muscular torso and then up to his peaceful face. She never really got to see that face when he was awake. On impulse, she reached out and pulled a bit of hair away from Lucien's face, gently brushing it onto the bed with a slow sweep of her thin fingers.

Lucien mumbled in his sleep, smiling a bit before his expression returned to it's calm state. He rolled over, sighing a bit as he did so. His head rested ontop of his hand, his muscular chest rising and falling as he breathed. He slowly blinked his honey-brown eyes open, stretching. He looked up, blinking groggily at Tessa. "Hello there." he mumbled sleepily.

[...That was a surprisingly cute/hot/calm/awesome/IreallywishIcould'veseenthatmyself way for Lucien to wake up. I expected him to throw a pillow at her like Vicente predicted xD]

Tessa froze as Lucien began to stretch and wake up, feeling very much like a kid caught with their hand in the cookie jar. She pulled her hand away and stratched awkwardly at the back of her head, trying to look innocent as her face began to heat up ever so slightly. "Er, hiya... I came to wake you up. The cake's about 20 minutes away from being ready if you want some."

Lucien stretched again before sitting up, folding one leg and letting the other hang off the side of the bed. "Oh. Are the others awake, then?" he asked, giving a yawn as he ran a hand through his hair, getting it out of his face. He looked up at Tessa, arching a brow as he saw her cheeks flush lightly.

[Falls]

Tessa nodded as she shifted more of her weight off of her injured leg and onto the crutch. "Yup. Vicente's been up with me for a while now and Ungolim just got up and demanded that I wake you up as well. He's so pleasant in the morning," she remarked sarcastically.

"I'll punch Ungolim when I get in there." Lucien chuckled in that velvety smooth voice, kicking off the covers and standing up. He was wearing only simple shorts, his long hair tousled and loose from sleeping. "When did you and Vicente wake up?" he asked, flicking his eyes to Tessa as he made his way to his dresser, picking up a brush and quickly running it through his hair.

Tessa gave a soft laugh, her gaze following Lucien across the room to his dresser and dropping to the floor when he asked the question. She thought for a moment. "Um... About an hour? I'm not entirely sure. I only started checking the clock when I put the cake in the oven." She figured the cake had about 10 minutes left by now. She looked up at him and found herself smiling at him. It was a relief to see that he was in a good mood this morning.

Lucien slipped on a black shirt, smoothing out the wrinkles before turning to Tessa. He blinked a few times, giving another yawn. "Alright, I'm awake. Let's go make sure Vicente and Ungolim aren't threatening eachother." he chuckled softly, giving a sleepy smile to her as he made his way to the door.
