Angel's eyes closed, thinking, then she opened them again. "Do not worry Pondweed, even if Rosepetal does go, she will always be with you, in StarClan or not." She meowed. "Let me spend the night with her alone, maybe thats what StarClan wants me to do, to spend one more night with my mother alone."

[walk.]

Pondweed nodded and gave one last sad glance at his mother but turned and slumped from the den. Thornslash licked his daughter between the ears and padded slowly out, not stopping to look back at Rosepetal. He thought about his lost son Bird, he could be Birdheart or Claw by now... It would of been nice having a son as a warrior rather than a medicine cat but he was still so proud of Pondpaw. He found his son laying in the nursery with Shiverkit, he chortled slightly, Pondweed never gave up his duties for a second but maybe that was best, to give him some time to think. Thornslash strolled into the warriors den and began to share tongues with Foxgaze.

Angel sighed and curled around her mother, stirring Rosepetal slightly. Angel licked her mother between the ears and fell asleep.

Pondweed awoke the next morning, jolting to his feet. He took a shrew from the fresh kill pile and ran the medicine den and stopped by the entrance and mewed, "Hellllo?"

Angel had already gotten up, and she glanced at Pondweed, eyes dark with sadness. "She's gone Pondweed...StarClan's taken her." She whispered.

[Rosepetal comes back, and a surprise comes with Rosepetal, but its not more kits trust me xD]

(He he he! I'm excited now!)

Pondweed just stared into space and mewed bravely, "It was her time. She will be with us in star clan now... Guiding us. Thank you for coming back Angel."

[wolf ;;]

Angel nodded, and she flickered her ear. "Get Thornslash to come in here." She meowed, her blue eyes were dull.

[Haha xD]

[walk.]

Pondweed nodded and ran out. He came back in seconds with his father and mewed, "Rosepetal is dead Thornslash." the old Tom mewed, "She'll be back."

Angel glanced at her father and was about to speak, but the area in the den felt like there was another cat, and she looked around to see the starry shape of Shadeflame. "Shadeflame!"

Pondweed turned to the elder and mewed happily, "Shadeflame! Oh it's so good to see you! Sandyfern and Emberheart had six kit's! They named the youngest after you!"
