Jayden followed the boy obediently, though she resented him for putting her in that position. He hadn't even given her a chance to answer before deciding that she needed to be shown the way to wherever he was taking her. Not cool. She forced her legs to move faster and keep pace with him, though his long stride made it difficult, and she found herself almost losing to the current that was the mass of students moving through the halls. When she had to push and shove to get by rock giants and fire girls, a path was always open for this boy, and people even seemed to be genuinely afraid of him. Had he done something to make them react this way? "You know," she said over the roar of the crowd, "If you tell me where we're going then you wouldn't have to come with me." I

Strike
"Please," he scoffed, glancing back at her from over his shoulder. "You would just get lost." Strike slowed slightly so that she could tail him bit more easily. As they approached the Main Office, he quickened his pace yet again. They finally arrived. "She needs her class schedule," he said bluntly to the secretary, motioning to the girl standing behind him. A strong scent drifted up into his nose, causing him to glance down. There was a small bowl of mints set out on the edge of the counter, and he absentmindedly picked one up in his hand and popped it in his mouth.
"Want one?" he offered the girl, turning around slightly. Strike held out the bowl in his right hand, leaning on the counter with his left. It was a bit quieter in the office, but not by much. The air was cooler as well; probably because it lacked in students attempting to beat the bell. Another student or two rushed in and sought out help by the assistant that stood behind the counter next to the secretary.
I respond to PM's, I'm inactive in trades at the moment. Xx

My internet's being a tad glitchy, so I can't go through and quote each post - sorry! ^^"
Anyway! Savannah - great, as usual. No flaws, so keep it up! Same to you, Rainy!
Star; I think if you use another pronoun apart from 'Ashley' every once in a while, it will make your post flow easier. But otherwise, good!
Zen, I think you have an accidental 'I' at the end of your post there! But your actual post is great!
Nimble, I think you have a couple of accidental spelling mistakes, too: "his", "held. But your post is perfect otherwise!
Yes I'm alone - but I'm alone and free.

Shoal spun around to face Eponymous and Ashley, walking recklessly backwards down the now-empty hallway. She grinned sheepishly at her two irritated classmates. "Sorry!" she apologized, though her voice remained as light and squeaky as ever. "I'm just sort of nervous about class because it's been so long and I haven't seen anyone in ages and I don't know if I remember the stuff we learned last year and I lost my schedule and-" Her rambling was interrupted as she crashed into the edge of a door that was not quite closed all the way. Barely managing to retain her grip on her books--though she handled herself much better than her previous collision--Shoal came to a halt. She stuck her head around the edge of the door and discovered an impatient teacher staring at her, along with a half-full room of vaguely familiar faces. Inscribed on the chalkboard in broad white strokes were the words 'Welcome Back For Your Final Year' and 'A History of Gifted Combat, Part II'. Brightening momentarily, Shoal turned to the others and loudly whispered, "This is our class!" However, excited as she was to finally get started with school, she couldn't help but be a little disappointed. She hated history, even if it was about cool battles and other gifted people who became warlords and stuff. Too many dates and locations to memorize. Still, she reassured herself, it was at least better than practical application.
