Mordecai listened to Foxglove ith half of his mind, the other half focused on the alley. Layla was in there. He could go and get her and attack her and...and...well, he wasn't sure what he'd do. Stump of a tail twitching madly, his attention became focused on Foxglove when she stood in front of him. "But..." he argued feebly, scratching at the concrete below him in frustration. "But if we get her now then you won't have to keep an eye out for her." The tom wasn't even sure what he meant by get her. Opening his mouth to say something, something probably stupid, he realized it was pointless to argue and shut his mouth again. "Okay. And you don't look like you gained anything. You look pretty...".

"Let's go." Bandit purred at Thirteen, standing up. "And yeah, the sun rises in the east." She watched the black and white she-cat run off for a second before following at a slightly slower pace. She was such a...a genuine cat. So sweet and energetic and just easily excited, but not in a bad way. Kittens were easily excited in a bad way. In an annoying way. Thirteen was different though. She was happy she'd...stumbled into her. "Wait up!"

Squirrel looked nervously at Fish Bones, still feeling horror from what she'd done. She'd nearly killed him. Killed him. Why would she even do that? Murder was just terrible. Terrible terrible terrible. Only bad people murdered. Squirrel wasn't bad, right? She was good. She'd never really done anything bad. Not purposely. Not trying to hurt someone. Zeus' comment only made her more nervous. Eyes wide and fur fluffed with fear, she began to back up with him, but a little faster. The she-cat was trembling, literally shaking in fear.

Fish Bones had passed out shortly after the whole episode with Squirrel and Zeus. A combination of exhaustion, hunger, age and just everything that had just occured had knocked him out. The blood that had been steadily seeping out of the wounds Squirrel had inflicted on him was lessening in flow. He still couldn't see out of one eye. Pain would have overwhelmed the poor tom had he not been unconcious. He was lucky he wasn't awake.

Julian stopped himself from letting out a pur when Layla put her tail on him. She was so pretty and so nice and she was talking to him. She was putting her tail on him. Why him? He was nothing special. But if she liked him maybe he was something special. He had survived the city after his owners had lost him, hadn't he? That took someone pretty awesome. He must be super awesome. Absorbed in his thoughts, he was hardly listening to whatt Layla said, only hearing snippets of her advice. He nodded regardless. He was so lucky, wasn't he? "Thank you." he meowed politely, hardly concealing the excitement in his voice.
