Damien had pretty much sussed he'd be doing the listening since Cordell couldn't tell apart one animal noise from another either. So as Cordell started prodding about in the undergrowth, Damien heightened his senses enough to allow gold to bleed into his appearance, taking root in his hair rather than his eyes this time.
And then there was the unmistakable sound of an animal being attacked, and Damien was rather surprised to find it to be closer than he imagined. "About fifteen meters to your left..." He mumbled, pointing off through the trees. Now he thought about it, with his heightened senses he could smell that horrible scent of blood hanging on the wind.

Angela grumbled and gave up fighting once Kage pulled her away. The twins pulled Aiden to his feet, and then perfectly in sync jabbed him in the stomach and kicked the back of his legs, making him fall over once more. Aiden got to his feet once more and glared at the twins who just grinned and ran over to hug Kage and Angela.
"Mason..." Angela mumbled after one of the twins finished hugging her, "If you just stuck a sticker on my back I'll lock you in the wardrobe."
Aiden messed up his younger brother's hair and looked over at Kage, "On telling them apart, Mason's hair is curly at the ends and Riley's got completely straight hair."
