"The" Rares List Guide - Do not ask about new UR's!

I'm looking over the list, and I saw that the Orange Cerberus is not on the bottom of the main rares list. I know it's based on demand and rarity, but if the Cerberus moved up, why wouldn't the BA? It has a huge amount of demand. Even bigger than a Line Tribal. Sorry bout waisting your time. Thanks

If it's okay, could I add just one thing about the BA. It's still an advent, and has been moved up as far as it can possibly go. It's already been moved WAY above it's rarity because of it's insane demand, we simply can't move it any farther up.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the Angel Advent also moved up impossibly high? It's right below the BA..

Not as crazy as the BA^^
The angel advent is a lot rarer than the BA (and all those advents) as far as I remember.
The BMD is also higher than it 'should' be.

The BMD is going for a lot more than its worth, at last from what I saw around 4 months ago; I got the Red X PPS (at the bottom of the main list) for a few 2011 easter rabbits, a 2009 rare BW and the BMD.

Just throwing that in, sorry if it doesn't belong, just to demonstrate what Minimanta meant.

The BA is already so high on the list because so little people are willing to trade one, so many people want one, and there's simply not enough.
It's just to do with popularity. When people began to desperately want a BA, they offered higher and higher because so little users were willing to trade theirs away. This overpaying just kept increasing until it moved up on the list.

Some already offer sorbets and the lot, more than its spot on the list suggests and far, far more than its actual rarity. If it was put higher with the sorbets, it'd go for even more than that and getting one would be next to impossible.

So no, the BA can't be moved up and crazy demand keeps it higher than what it's worth.

I have got an idea - although it is a time-consuming one - why not make a list of rarity of the pets? No demand involved at all. And then another list, with same pets but this time demand + rarity together ^^

Basically, maybe the current list needs a "sister" - same pets, but arranged by rarity? I, for one, would find it very useful, since i prefer trading by rarity more than trading by demand but i am not "CS-wise" enough to know the rarity/availability of all pets ^^

I hope you consider my idea, that would be really helpful!

We don't know the rarity of pets. Only Nick and Tess know how many pets are in the game and how rare a pet actual is. There can be 100 Ur tigers, 1000's, 10000's. We don't know and it would be impossible to count.

I don't see why there needs to be a list that just shows rarity. Pets have a rarity tag, you can see rarity there. Demand puts them above each other, and just because you don't like trading with demand, doesn't meant that other people don't ^^'. I'm sorry, but i won't take say..yer Ur grapes for my UR tiger, just because you think the Ur tiger demand doesn't matter and they are both omg so rare. Because i know that someone else will pay me sunjewel+ for it, with demand. It just seems rather silly to me ^^'

By all means, trade how you want to trade, but don't expect other people to do and want the same. I can understand if you have trouble trading xD, that's probz the reason.

As far as the pawprint/lime/skelly rats go, I'm not sure about them. They never made it to OMGSR correct? The speckled rats have previously and may again by the end of the year. I like the placement of the Speckled rats but if we move the others up any, we would be going against the rarity aspect since they obviously aren't as rare as the others. Until we see a rarity change in them, there is no telling how rare they are compared to the Speckles. I do know the Skeleton rat is amazingly more hard to find than any of the others - He would be the only one I would feel comfortable moving up since the supply is so low.


On another note, Komi - Something that has been bugging me for a while now and this may not make much sense but lets start it as a rough draft. We are planning to continually add 'list worthy' pets to the list as they gain rarity. I can understand creating a tier below the list that contains things such as the Watermelon Dog and St. Patrick's Dragon but as far as moving pets up as the years go on, it makes me a little uncomfortable. I don't believe pets should be moved up individually as much as I believe the list should be moved up entirely, if that makes sense. There are some pets that will deserve to be on the list as time goes on, the ones that meet all criteria for supply, demand and rarity. But I can just see the list gaining more and more pets through the years while simultaneously taking away from deserving pets such as the Advents. There are so many 'advent worthy' pets at the moment yet there are only a few in my opinion that are worth the demand, dates and rarity of the advents. e.e Does any of that make sense orso e.e

yeah i thinked theyre shoudl come new part under the advents what includes 2009 very rares that should add to the list but don't go to the advent 08 raritys : )

My english is not very good and i cant express myself good, but
1) I am aware that noone knows the exact numbers. But rarity can be guessed with rarity changes and availability? Notice guessed.
2) Do you really think i would trade grapes for tiger? -_- Im sorry, but that is a pretty stupid example. Demand does matter, but what if two pets have similar demand? Etc, they are in same line or near lines in current list, but i'd like to know, which one is more rare.
You say that pets have rarity tags and you can decide the "worth" between them by rarity - but everyone alo knows that "very rare" winged wood angel is alot less rare than "very rare" blue sorbet.
3) Oh yes, i do trade as i like to. And i have no problems, thank you very much -_- You cant make assumptions about my noobishness just because i speak bad english.

I was just suggesting (in my opinion) an interesting idea but instead i get borderline rude reply which implies that i am not a good trader and that i think others should do what i want/like them to do.

Like i said, having a list of just rarity would be pointless. Let me give you a different example. A July 08 rat might might worth more then sorbet, rarity wise. Less were adopted and all that jazz. But nobody will pay a july 08 rat for the sorbet, because the sorbet has more demand. A list without demand would be silly and it would mean allot of work. This list counts rarity and demand. There is no need for a demand list, or a rarity list. This one can be used for that.

1) Rarities are already guessed in this list.
2) an example means that it probably wouldn't happen, but it's a good way to show what i mean. I didn't say you would do a trade like that, never implied you would. Don't take it personal.
Also, you don't know for sure that a winged wood dog is worth less then a sorbet, because you don't own the numbers. (All we can do is guess, right.)
3) I'm not making assumptions about anybody's 'noobishness'. I didn't call you a noob. I said that i can understand why trading would be difficult for you, since most people on CS do count demand. Never called you a noob, never said yer english aint fine. Looks pretty fine to me tbh.

A rarity list still seems like a silly idea to me, and i certainly won't be putting any more time in it. Don't take it personal, i don't like yer idea, that's nothing against you. No need to get snippy about it ouo b.
