A Test to Death... *Accepting*

Dakota smiled and walked to the couch. She sat on the opposite end, not wanting to seem to forward. She leaned her head back and closed her eyes.

Jess looked at her. "are you tired?" he asked.

Dakota shook her head, "Not really, you?" she was trying to clear her head.

Jess shook his head. "nah.." he said.

Dakota sat up. She criss crossed her legs and looked over at him, "Why were you in an orphanage?" she asked cautiously. She didn't want to pry, but she was curious. And her curiosity always won.

Jess looked straight forward. "I'm not sure. I guess my mom just didn't want me.. I was in the orphanage for as long as I could remember. And as I got older no one bothered to adopt me.." he said with no emotion. "so, I stayed there until now.."

Dakota looked at him, "I'm sorry." she said. She wasn't good at comforting people, but she tried her best. She thought about giving him a hug, but she didn't think that would be good.

Jess stood there not saying anything, he just kept looking straight forward.

Dakota stood up and walked over to him. She looked at him, "Are you okay?" she was close enough to feel his breath.
