Just adding on but...Wicca is not young, remember the witch trails of the 1800's? Also, Wicca is based off of many older things, like ancient Egypt rituals and the gods and goddesses from ancient Rome/Greece, Christianity started in Spain and quickly spread, prosecuting others so they looked like the first and/or only religion.

Oh, and by the way, I think I'm going to quit Wicca, I'm not doing well and so much cr*p has happened that I can't deal with it...Bye for now, I might still post but...well, I guess I wont believe all of what I say when I offer advice...I still celebrate the old holiday though, just not in such a spiritual manner, have a great day, talk to you guys later.
I'm Quitting CS, my bff will continue all my characters, you wont notice much because she's been RPing for me a lot. I will let her log on to this account because if she doesn't than Dewclan, my warrior cat RP, will have a VERY outdated list. Her Username will be Willowkit17, like mine was. GoodBye CS, My pets are up for grabs ;)

Just because Wicca has some basis in older practices of Paganism does not make Wicca an "old religion". It is a fact that it was created about 50 years ago. There is no historical reference to Wicca before that time. There is to Paganism itself, but not Wicca. :/

1. Witchcraft doesn't equal Wiccan. And the people killed in the witch trials were most Christians.
2. See above.

Welcome Jerzey! You mentioned that you believe in the ALL. That might be like Brahman, depending on how you think of it. I totally think of it like that. :)

I'm planning to meditate for sure. I'm also planning on blessing my newly cracked-open thunderegg. That thing was overflowing with energy before I cracked it open, and now I can see why. It was filled to the brim with crystals. I really can't wait to start working with it. What about you?

Ooh, what is trance work? I've never heard of it before.

I'm still trying to decide. I use my other one for divination, but this one is just so different. I might use it as something to pull energy from when I meditate. It can be so exhausting, and I hate to have to leave the spirit world when I've gotten in deep. I'd need to recharge it pretty often if I do that. Anyone know a good method for thundereggs?

It might be. I don't really go through the whole ritual you do, but do do sort of mentally purify my space. Every single time I meditate, at some point I do go deeper and give all control to Brahman. (That's what I call the collective energies if the universe, sort of borrowed from Hinduism.) Cool. :)
