Short Story: A large black figure stood on the misty moorland. Its stood perfectly still, its mane rippling in the light breeze. I sat astride my Tempestine, equally still. Admiring the beauty and calmness of the magnificent beast that stood infront of me. Her antlers shone in the moonlight, smooth and glistening.
The wind blew harder, blowing a gale around us both, the rain began to pour creating a wall encasing the 3 of us together, an unimpenitable force that brang us closer together.
Emporer began to stir benieth me, pacing quicker and quicker benieth me, never moving an inch. I leant forward onto his neck, tracing patterns behind his ear. He swivelled his ears to me, listening to my calming words. WIthout warning my steed threw his head back, forcing me roughly onto his back. An unearthly sound filled the confined space. A Creening, and call. No more than that, a cry, and unearthly, spine-tingly cry of both love and hate.
The mare infront of me turned, and faced me full on for the first time. Her eyes were full of hatred, her mouth a grim line. Her tail swished as she turned to face her dripping body directly at us, she put one foot forward, then another.Warily at first, but then she began to run.

I was lying on the floor, my hay blanket warming my legs. the wind still blew around me. The roof of my shelter shook, the fence panels wobbled, threatening to cave in on me. Emporer stood by my side, his ears pricked, his eyes alert. His ears swivelled at the tiniest sound, shifting his weight from foot to foot.
I was staying with him tonight, afraid to leave him alone. Why had he acted so straingly on the moors today? Why didn't he calm down when I whispered to him and traced patterns on his skin? Why was there another Tempestine on the Moors? Where did she come from?
I was so absorbed in my thoughts, that I almost jumped out of my skin when my horse shuffled his hay in his hay net.
"Emporer!" I growled, but I was still smiling, I couldn't be angry with him ever. Not even when I was thrown from his back during a hissy fit, I have never ever been able to hold a grudge against him.
A noise outside made my heart stop, my breating paused, I became alert and tense.
Thats all I have so far!
