The badger made some sort of purring sound and something similar to a smile when he was picked up and licked her hand before turning into human, "Kayla!" he purred again, "hum..." he looked thoughtful for a moment, "I met a girl that doesn't likes blood..." he said, "I think she came here Miss 'cause I found her here... she was wearing a hoodie" he said, "and she was hungry so I took her to eat... but she didn't seem to like it very much..." he shook his head, "and you Kayla? What are you doing?" he asked.

"Have you seen the White Rabbit?"

Kayla -

Kayla laughed, "That little 'Miss' was Abigail, a demon, she is new around here." Kayla smiled, "Well... as a matter of fact I was just thinking about going out on a run, or something." She looked down at him, shifting around a little so he was facing her, "I'm sure Abigail and all the others will soon grow accustomed to our ways."

Max frowned, "the....others?" he looked at her curiously, "are there... more people?" he asked tilting his head to the side a bit. 'There might be...' he thought, he had taken in strange scents.

"Have you seen the White Rabbit?"

Kayla -

Kayla looked down at Max, "Yes... there were about six new ones that showed up this morning, quite an odd amount, if I do say so myself." She muttered, before her gaze drifted back over to the griffin, and then out the window, "It worries me..." She whispered, before she snapped back to attention.

"Six?!" Max blinked and set his fingers in front of him seeing how many six were, "it's more then a handful..." he muttered and shook his head, "how are you going to train everyone?" he blinked and looked at her curiously, "you look worried... perhaps Kayla needs a bit of rest" he smiled.

"Have you seen the White Rabbit?"

Kayla -

Kayla looked at him and smiled, "I agree!" She chided in, smiling down at the young boy. It was this innocence that Kayla was bound and determined to protect. Kayla shrugged, "That I have no idea on..." She grumbled, before looking down at him, a little shocked at his next remark, that is before she broke out smiling, "I will rest, if you rest as well." She stated, noticing that the sun hand long since set.

Max blinked, "me..." he frowned and followed her gaze outside, "already this late?" he shook his head and looked back at her, "no no Kayla... Max is a Night creature" he purred and got himself into a black kitty form, "Night!" he mewed.

Kayla laughed and patted his head, "Of course, of course, I forgot..." She chuckled. Kayla picked max up and placed him on her desk. So cute! She thought, admiring his small size. No matter how hard any shifter tried, they could not change the size in which their animals were formed, the animals size grew with them, and right now Max's 'cat', looked like a kitten. Kayla got out of her chair and shifted into a wolf, "Come one, let's go for a walk in the forest." She knew it was probably a little dangerous, but she was sure both Midnight and Ace would be there to help if anything came up.

Max let out a happy purr and jumped to the floor getting into his badger form, from all his shapes he had learned to turn into to the badger one was his favorite, "on the forest?!" he pounced around and nodded, "yes yes yes!!!"

Kayla looked watched him shift, smiling, "Is the badger your.favorite form?" She asked, while standing a little ways away. Kayla thought about shifting into her midnight black wolf, and that's what she did. She wagged her tail and let a funky looking grin appear on her face, "Of course in the forest, where else silly?" She laughed, pushing him over onto his back, nuzzling his stomach
