Guess who's back?

Anyway, guys, I have to say:
If you post multiple drawings and they're very large, then post links! Don't embed the drawings!
It saves a little space. (:

--------------------

Wow, Calix, that's very beautiful. The pose is very lovely too.
Only the muzzle seems a little short and small. But that's pretty much the only thing I can say about that. You did a very good job.

Schizoid, that's a lovely little pixel. I love the expression. And you made a good choice by colouring the lines.
Maybe a bit of shading can make it better. There are tons of good shading tutorials on dA that'll do a better job at explaining than I ever can, though. But this is a good standard way.
I think you already did a mighty fine job, though. The colours look good, the pose looks nice and I cannot get over how amusing that grin is.

Doetails, your style reminds me a lot of animal crossing. Which is good, it works darn well. You're getting better at proportions and body structure. The only thing that's bothering me is that the character seems out of balance. Perhaps it's just me, but there seems to be something with how she's standing that makes her look off-balance. Perhaps because she's leaning to the left (my left). Or maybe my eyes are just crooked. Who knows.
I really love the colourful style, though. If you'd clean up the lines, it'd look even more lovely.

--------------------

Hmm. Do I have art..
I think I do.
Made on a depressing evening.

Little bit of war paint on my OC.
Because drawing her in ways she'd never be is just fun. Also I love blue.

@schizoid :: oh gosh i simply love that pixel ;n;
i don't see anything wrong with it, besides maybe the chin
( but that's already been pointed out )
keep it up! ♥
———
@doetails :: hello there, haven't seen you around much c:
i love your sketch, adventure time ftw OTL
i would just say work on the hands a little,
they look a bit more like man hands than woman's !
———
@calix :: you have a very nice style, and those paws are wonderful ~
i'd advise studying the anatomy of a wolf a bit more though ..

there are some anatomy errors, for example the ears are too rounded
and the legs are too small to support the heavier torso.
also the muzzle is far too short and pointed downwards !

anyways it's a lovely piece, just some anatomy issues — you'll get the hang of it c:
———
@doctordraca :: ooh warpaint :> i love your style and skill with humanssss
the only thing that throws me off a little is the lips, they look almost ... pursed?
unless that was your intention of course, i don't know much about human anatomy xD

———————————

okay, so, here's a piece i finished just today,
it's based off a fairly old sketch so there may be some anatomy errors !
anyways it's my fursona, zephha, showing tribute to vincent van gogh's works ♥

hey guys!! i havent posted here in the longest time.

@ iva ; please don't post that many large pictures, try linking to them by using the url bbcode or thumbnails so they dont spam up the page when they are all of the same subject. <:
i think it looks pretty good, except the canine looks a bit scrawny, and kinda lacks feet?? i cant really critique it tho,so great job!! uvu

Oh, sorry. I forget this forum doesn't automatically resize pictures. D: The canine doesn't have feet, they both have pretty screwy anatomy because, well, I like them like that.

@Zephayer I died a little inside when I saw your amazing art. The lines are so clean and smooth, the colors and shading is beautiful. I love the leaf texture on the tail and ear, the rose texture on the tail and neck, and the scarf texture. Overall, it's ajkshbljsfb I'm at loss for words. All I could suggest is the front paw looks too skinny where it bends, but I'm not sure if that was on purpose or what.

Just curious, did you make the textures yourself?

Thank you so much for all the critique, guys ^^ I'm pretty bad with 3/4 views so I'm trying to practice them more.

DoctorDraca- Those ears <3 That's stunning, good job ^^

Musicart- I love the shading, but the eye is far too big. I think it'd look better with a smaller eye ^^

Zephayer- Your wolf is missing a joint on the raised paw. What looks like a wrist to us is just the end of their toes. Also, the shoulder looks too prominent on the arm closer to us. This tutorial is good for joints ^^

---

I could use some help on feline anatomy. This is the first feline I've drawn in months(and before that I'd only drawn one or two) so I could use lots of help/redlines ^^;

calix; http://i1196.photobucket.com/albums/aa4 ... /ugh-2.png
really quickly cause I have to leave for class soon xD;
your sketch was really good for someone that has only drawn a few big cats! ouo b
now I'm still learning cat anatomy too so it may not be entirely accurate but I think the basics should be covered :3
may have overexaggerated the sideburns a bit xD and the furthest back leg is a bit off too :P and the neck should be a bit thicker than shown |DD

So, your main issue for this sketch is making the legs too rounded, too canine. Most big cats have legs that are usually constructed of more angular shapes, rectangles and triangles instead of ovals, so that's your main problem. They are also more stout and thick, and the curves are more gentle in comparison. c:

I also changed the position of the feet, because it just felt a bit awkward to me ^^; Another important note, the back of a tiger is typically very flat, besides the shoulder which is very exaggerated. Now the shoulder typically slopes gently from the neck and then bumps and goes down sharply to the back. And remember the dew claws in the inside of the front feet C:

The best way to improve this sketch is simply to use references. Your tiger markings could be improved with references as well xD; A lot of people tend to render tiger stripes as jagged with sharp angles, when actually they are very smooth, long, and flowy. http://fohn.net/tiger-pictures-facts/tiger-regal.jpg c:

hoped that helped a bit ^^

Zeph- that's adorable! I love it. The front leg that is farthest from us seems slightly off, but that's being pretty picky... I think it looks awesome.

Calix - that's cute. <3 I can't be much help, as I fail at felines... /:

Dia.
I love it, but I believe the snout is too short ^^

I need help once more. I was going to animate a vocaloid song, but that's far too lengthy. So i'm struck out of ideas. Does anyone have any iideas? It can't be too long, so the shorter the better. I need to be able to do it in one week XP
