Summer, named for the season of love and respite and rest and beauty. Spring is the season of growth, winter of death and coldness, autumn of change. Summer is the season of life and luxury, the climax of every empire, the epitome of the year, when the sun shines and the grass grows because life can exist, for a moment, in peace and love and decorum. Summer Leavitt was named so because her mother was a romantic, in love with nature more than anyone with a beating heart. Summer doesn't usually go by any nicknames, her two syllable name is quite fine for her, and either way, shortened versions of that are scarce, as it is. But she's happy, and has few qualms with the name that has shaped and stood by her for her entire life.

An obvious woman, it would be difficult to determine otherwise, with a name like Summer, long white-gold hair, ample proportions, and astounding feminine bone structure. An intense feminist, Summer's never really taken men seriously, or plans to. Feminism means wanting equality between genders, but a bit more of a wild child, this girl's always privately agreed with her mother in the way that women must be superior to men; for many reasons. Man was not graced with the gifts of life or childbirth, was not blessed with the ability to sustain anything. Men are tools to farther prolong the cycle of life, but what do they do women cannot? Nothing, after all. They are but resources. Women, on the other hand, have so many many talents and secrets of their lives and bodies and minds that are impossible for the other gender to fathom. A long time ago, they must have been equal, with men working and hunting and gathering or whatever it was he did, while women raised the next generation. But that is not a balance needed anymore. Women, Summer believes, more whole-heartedly than a lot of things, can be so much better than they are now, and can grow into their potential: she believes that collectively, they could do anything.

A feminine creature, a child, in a way. Summer, from a young age, was a glaring blonde. You would have to squint her hair was so bright when she was younger, and because of countless hours in the sun, it's hardly lost the sunlit color. The texture and length of it, long and slightly wavy, not too thick or course, but neither thin and fine, are normally hidden away as she keeps it in a bun or braid down her back. In sunlight, standing under the sky, sometimes it's hard to think she's even human, with such a halo.
Moving downwards, Summer's eyes. Like black oceans they undulate and turn and writhe, moving and rippling with emotions. Large and set far apart from one another, and more than anything, intense, their color is the deepest blue, so dark it verges on midnight black, but glinting in lamplight or sun, you can find speckles of rare forgetmenot blue.
The shape of Summer's face, like her eyes, is changing depending on how you look at it. Harsh and angular when she shows her trademark frown, apples form in her cheeks if she were ever to show off a grin or two. Her nose is small and close to her face, and freckles dab her cheeks. Tanned slightly with long, neat eyebrows, her face is individual for it's broadness, but also for the edges and surfaces that make it unique. As well as her face, Summer's body is nothing to be ashamed of. Slim and robust, tanned slightly with long limbs and a stomach she's content with, although not a supermodel, there's something lovely about her sillouhette.
