Greystar chewed the stick he was handed, and he listened to Shimmerfur and nodded, he couldn't say anything because if he tried to then all that would come out was a yowl of pain.

Rosepetal sighed and padded out of the medicine cat den. "Pondpaw! Lets go to Moonpool, you need to receive your name."

[walk.]

Shimmerfur licked his head swiftly yet softly with one stroke and nestled her had into his fur and murmered, "My Greystar..." she sighed and mewed, "I could get you some poppy seeds if you'd like."

Pondpaw looked up and mewed, "Oh great! Let's go then!" he handed Rosepetal some of the travelling herbs and took some himself, he cringed at the sour flavour.

Rosepetal ate them, she didn't show any signs of tasting the sour and bitter herbs, after moons of eating them she got used to the taste. She flickered her tail and padded out of camp.

Greystar heard Shimmerfur and he nodded slightly when she said she could get him poppy seeds, he cringed at the pain.

[walk.]

Pondpaw mewed to Goldenkit, "One day little one, this will be you." and he padded excitedly out of camp, just stopping swiftly to touch noses to his father who mewed, "You may not be a warrior Pondpaw, but I am so proud of you!" he nuzzled him softly before running after his mother.

shimmerfur nodded and padded outside, her round belly preventi her from going fast. She looked around and found the poppy seeds and waddled back to Greystar's den. She suddenly gasped in pain as a surge rippled through her body and she cried out loud. Her first contraction! She lay down and gulped, her gold eyes wide with fear.

Greystar's eyes went wide as he heard a yowl and he jumped to his paws, ignoring the new wave of pain that overcame him. He gripped his claws into the ground and went to his mate.

Rosepetal growled when she heard what Thornslash had said, her tail lashed out behind her as she walked.

[walk.]

Shimmerfur gasped as the next contraction came and gulped, digging her claws into the moss. She noticed Greystar and hissed, "No, go away! You can't see me like this Greystar!" she yowled and suddenly let out a sigh as the first kit came out and mewed, "Is it alive Greystar!? What gender is it, what colour! HOw many more!"

Pondpaw stretched before running swiftly after his mother and matching her pace. Hee was thrilled to be receiving his name.

Greystar glanced at his mate, then he grabbed the kit and licked it until it started to mewl. "Its alive, don't worry until the kits are born." He meowed, then he looked up as Sandyfern came. "I'll help." Sandyfern meowed.

Rosepetal's ears were flat against her head as she walked. She would taste the air from time to time.

Hawkkit appeared and mewed excitedly, "Are we gonna have den mates Mumma?!" Shimmerfur let out a sigh of relief and cringed as the next kit slipped out and then the last one. She felt immediant relief and flopped down happily on the floor and mewed, "Can you tell me all about them Greystar?"

Pondpaw cocked his head and mewed, "What's wrong Mum, they have to let us pass to Moonpool, nothing to worry about!"

Sandyfern looked at Hawkkit and flickered her tail before nodding. "Yes, now go back to the nursery, Hawkkit." She meowed. Greystar purred and licked the 3(?) kits. "One of them looks just like you." He meowed.

Rosepetal growled. "Its not that." She snapped.

[walk.]

Hawkkit nodded and mewed, "I'm gonna make a huge nest for them!" Shimmerfur chuckled and mewed, "Really, is it a Tom?" she opened her eyes and saw a white and grey patched Tom, a tiny little white Tom and then the golden she cat. She mewed, "What will we call them Greystar?"

Pondpaw frowned and mewed, "What is it then? Is it you ca't be bothered to take me to moonstone!"
