Welcome to my Elimination Contest! Here you can enter your writing into the next competition, and get an honourable mention + recommendation! You can also chose a pet from This Group.
ANY type of writing is accepted- poems, books, fan-fictions, scripts, short stories and song fics, anything!

✸Δвσʋт!✸

In each Contest, there will be nine rounds, and 10 entries. Only the winner will get a pet, but you will get an honourable mention for competing and a recommendation if you're in the top 3! Here is what I will judge the writing on...

Round One:

Title- originality, flow and fitting- that is what your title will be judged on

Round Two:

Organisation- how well you organise your writing. Do you have a contents? Links to chapters? Are they all on the first page? Section-dividers, colours and fancy font all boost your score.

Round Three:

Spelling + Grammer- These two are very important to me, and who wants to read something that's full of misspelled words and doesn't make sense?

Round Four:

First chapter- includes either first chapter or a prologue. If it keeps the reader interested, you'll get a good score.

Round Five:

Detail- not too little, not to much.

Round Six:

Fan involvement- what do you do to keep fans interested?

Round Seven:

Characters- Are they realistic, fun, interesting? Do you have too little or too many?

Round Eight:

Plot- this is the most important parts of the story. Can I see the plot? Is it interesting? Do you have twists and ideas no-one saw coming?

Round Nine:

Everything- with the final two pieces of writing, I will judge the whole thing. Whichever I think is best will have 1st place

1. Only enter one piece of writing per contests. You may enter other contests, but not the same one
2. Don't enter the same thing twice
3. Don't be a sore loser or a sore winner. It's not nice, and will end up with you getting banned
4. If you want advice, or to know why you won, ask.
5. You cannot reserve spots
6. Follow all site rules!
7. You may only enter your own writing
8. The writing will be entered in the first available contest. If I have two up a once, one with 1 place left, and one with 10 places left, and somebody enters before you, you will be entered in the next one. You may not request to be entered in a certain contest.

Once we have done ten contests, all the winners from the previous contests will be entered in a semi-finals. The winner will get two pets from the group. Once we have had ten semi-finals, there will be a Championship, with the winners of the semi-finals.

Why: So, so sorry Kat! It's a great story, and I love it, but the organisation isn't the best. You could leave it as it is or edit it, it's up to you. Again, sorry!

Why: Sorry! The competitions getting harder, and it's so hard to judge! There are some sentences that don't make sense, and it can be a little confusing. Use shorter sentences for effect, and don't spring too much on the reader! Keep on writing!

Why: This story isn't finished yet, so there isn't anything to base the personalities of your characters on. We don't know enough about them. I think the only reason for this is because the story is new. I can't wait to see what you do with it!
